For me it's the old quote of "Something to do, something to love and something to look forward to." So for me that means a career and hobbies to keep me busy and challenged and to get satisfaction from, people and animals to love, and I always try to plan things in life to look forward to such as trips, concerts, events, milestones, parties, etc.
What about solitary activities i.e. solitaire, drawing, writing, playing a musical instrument... I understand the point about enjoyment...Maybe there is a aspect can be included
