      The production quality going all the way back to his debut EP is simply incredible. Most house tunes from 2010 sound flat and dated, Big Adventure sounds like it could have been released today.

    • @musicchannel9256
      @musicchannel9256 5 лет назад +4

      @@Noah-Lach I honestly miss the amount of detail these older songs have. Even Feed Me's newer stuff sounds a bit more flat. Its still good but not quite as good as this or Feed Me's Big Adventure or even Calamari Tuesday

I wasn't sure if I should spring for the woofer, but I finally did and it makes the music 200x better. And it's not even a very big or expensive one! You can still feel the bass with it. listen man, no need to stoke the fire here. you don't like "computer" music (it's called EDM m8), which is fair enough, but to me that makes me think multiple things. either you:
    1. Don't have a decent enough pair of headphones/earphones or a good sound system to enjoy EDM
    2. Have no musical taste, feelings or emotion
    3. Are someone over the age of 18 that is too ignorant and arrogant to embrace and accept EDM.
    Just putting in my opinion, rage m0ar.

  • @ElementalRecords
    @ElementalRecords 11 лет назад

    Agreed. I am a producer who has also been in rock bands and plays 'traditional' music, and I can safely say its much fuckin easier to write a rock or indie tune than it is to produce good EDM. The knowledge involved in just things like good EQ, mixing etc is very involved, not to mention mastering...

    Didn't say it was, and i was referring to the "drop" of when the bass comes in because it is lower in the frequency spectrum than the segment before it, hence the use of the term "drop". Also i love feed me's music and the main bass riff of this song, it's really gritty, with a great hard hitting tone. I just thought that it needed a more explosive application rather than sliding into it to make it more exciting.

    i quite recall saying belittling, which by definition means to demean or "openly discriminate or shoot down someone or something". Yes it can also be an opinion, but i say what I said for the sole purpose of people openly expressing their hatred for a genre, when they well know the consequences it could have upon them, as they are publicly hating and trying to demean something. But I do agree with you too. Acts of stupidity are mainly caused by the context of what is being stated.

  • @thumpetto007
    @thumpetto007 11 лет назад

    Unless you are an expert in multi-genre music production, how do you accurately ascertain the skill levels needed to produce music in any genre?
    Skill in itself doesn't correlate well to high quality music. Maybe effort and quality have a closer relationship?
    Listener emotions correlate to their tastes in music. If you like an inorganic, detached sound, electronic music will generally evoke the highest amount of emotions.
    You committed an example of Argument From Age fallacy, yourself.

  • @B0GlES
    @B0GlES 11 лет назад

    I'm aware of EDM (Electronic Dance Music). The key word here is ELECTRONIC. i.e. its all done on a COMPUTER. So I'm correct.
    1. My sound system is fine thanks. B&O have done a fantastic job.
    2. My preffered taste? You know nothing of me. But for the sake of it - I listen to most genres, Classic, Rock, Punk, Blues, Indy. All of which would take more skill to produce and evoke more emotions that computer music ever could.
    3. Age has nothing to do with anything. You'll learn that when you grow up.

  • @B0GlES
    @B0GlES 11 лет назад

    1. Poor excuse D- must try harder.
    2. Nothing to do with insecurities. Your comment clearly stated you would find me and kill me - a threat of death... (not that I'm worried, you wouldn't even know where to start with that)
    3. Computer music is crap - that doesn't make me ignorent, it make me correct.
    4. I wasn't aware this was a video about computer music until I hit Play and this awful buzzing noise came out. So I felt obliged to share my opinion. Shit happens!

  • @Vladythebest96
    @Vladythebest96 11 лет назад

    1. i misspelled *live*...please officer, i'm too young to go to prison
    2. If you consider that as a death threat...you probably are a very insecure person
    3. your statement simply implies that you consider all computer music crap, which makes you an ignorant, which means i kinda hate you...unless you realise that "hold on, there's more to music than Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Jay Z and Chopin"
    4. WHY are you here?

I mean you could listen to a new one of that kind and when suddenly someone would pull out an old one you wouldn't even notice it...

  • @HELLOspaceHELLO
    @HELLOspaceHELLO 11 лет назад

    Electronic music, and traditional, both good, and difficult to make. Calling a producer of any genre of music crap, or more specifically a song crap; you have absolutely no idea how much work, effort, and emotion goes into it. Any song requires effort to create, no matter the genre, and belittling one genre because you don't like it is an utmost frivolous act of stupidity. You can dislike it, but you may keep that to yourself. Just because you dislike it doesn't mean you have to depreciate it.

    I'm sure most of this music could be written out in musical notation, with each part being assigned to an instrument, and then played live, if there were skilled enough musicians to read and play it. However the timbre would be lost, which is one of the most important aspects of this kind of music in my opinion.

    A cheap set of computer speakers with a half decent subwoofer that beats the hell out of headphones can be bought cheaper than a good set of headphones. Compacting the drivers increases cost. Headphones are purely to isolate sound to one person. There's no reason to use them otherwise.
