This is really cool. I just got back into ardupilot and it's much easier to use now especially assigning switches. Not sure what plane I'm going to use for VTOL may just do a tail sitter first and go from there. Good stuff Lee
Painless, when building the 4+1 VTOL, do you use a PDB to centralize the provisioning of power for all of the motors and ESC's? If not, how do you avoid the rat nest of wires? I find this part confusing and there doesn't seem to be any info out there that addresses this dilemma. Thanks.
Quick question. Several club members are asking for a GPS tracker for their plane that is light weight , monitored by cell phone and requires no subscription fee. Do you have a solution for this?

You need a PDB of some kind. I made an old-school wire one for this... Happy flying

Nothing that I have looked at recently. Most GPS tags need some form of subscription... I'll keep my eye open...
Thanks for the quick reply. If I recall correctly the pixhawk and ardupilot gave that capability. But the puxhawk was bulky and not very light either
