The whole Pixhawk world seems to have been on holidays… have not seen many videos coming out for a long time
I did a Pixhawk 2023 series and this is the first of a few updates. Make sure you are subscribed and have the bell notification icon selected so you don't miss future content. Happy flying
Are the PixHawk Cubes, plug and play? What do they do?
They are. Check out the Pixhawk Cube builds on the channel for more information and detail. Best of luck
@@Painless360 Thanks for the reply.
I can’t find a clear answer to this. I already have a 3+ year old Cube Orange with the carrier board. If I buy a new Cube Orange Plus, can I plug it right into my existing carrier board? Is there any difference in the carrier board? Should I get a new Cube Orange Plus with the carrier board? Is there any good reason to upgrade to Orange Plus?
Yes. Covered in my Cube overview video... Happy flying
@@Painless360 I saw the part about the carrier boards being 'universal' but is there any good reason to upgrade to Orange Plus? Thanks for your reply.
Not unless you've found something you can't do on the one you have... Happy flying
Hello sir how to control servo homemed gimbal pixhawek 2.4.8 conection diagram and pairamitar setup please helps me
Which bit are you struggling with?
@@Painless360 set MNT_TYPE faild
@@Painless360 pre arm MNT TYPE check
There isn't a MNT TYPE error I can see in the docs. You sure you are typing that right?
Hello Lee! Great video! I am long time fan!
Which flight controller would you suggest to make a simple 450mm quad for fishing? It carries a servo to release payloads. No camera, just telemetry. I use simple 2312 motors. I am tired of using cloned pixhawks (too much wiring and connectors...) and the newest ones are too expensive. I have no problem with soldering. Could you direct me to a video were I can find further info?
Thanks so much!!!
You can run Ardupilot on non Pixhawks. That provides you a much cheaper way to to do it. I've made a few series on the channel showing how to.. Best of luck
@@Painless360 Thanks for the tip. Looks like you are fan of Matek! Will go after your advice!
SORRY for really silly question but is autopilot cube or box just very good flight controller or something more?
For many professional pilots it is the gold standard. You can run ardupilot on cheaper non Pixhawk hardware too. I have several builds on the channel... Happy flying
@@Painless360 so is it a very good flight controller or something else?
It is very good. Expensive, but the choice for many professional pilots.
@@Painless360 inav can work with it?
No, Ardupilot or PX4... check out some of the build series... best of luck
Dos any of those have a GSM communication?
Not built-in.. Happy flying
@@Painless360 i sow the module for the telemetry data for the ground station, is that one that use gsm to transmit data through internet?
Maybe, the ones I've seen (and you can watch videos on the channel about) use regular RF.. Best of luck
