haha, you are so right, bro. Perak road has probably the most number of economy rice stalls in the island. Very observant! Haha. and yes, finding parking is a challenge, and that's why you'll see mostly are bikes.
I used to like the one which they named midnight economy rice stall, nearer the Bomba station... but apparently they also sell during the day now after the MCO.
Ur little boy went to dentist without any problem👍👍...still remember as a kid reluctant to go to dentist, my late mom used to entice me with toys esp marbles before going...
Yes, very much so. I enjoyed Heng Lee in Bukit Mertajam and the chendol in New World Park.I intend to make regular trips to Penang. I tried to go to Soon Huat Durian, but it was very expensive... Maybe they know I am a foreigner, so different price... I wanted to go to Lim Brothers, but seemed very chaotic😂. I am coming back to Penang in August 2024.
@@kermitsmith2598 Wow you managed to go to Bukit Mertajam! That is awesome. Jalan Pasar has a lot of good stuff all around and I always overeat when I am there. LOL Yes Soon Huat is very expensive. They are specialists in durian competitions and the dad has been many winning trees. They also do deliveries around Penang nowadays because it isn't the easiest place to get to! Lim Brothers is my go to farm every year, prices are reasonable and quality is OK for me.... just that you need to make a booking. What are your favourite Penang foods? I will try to see what I can recommend by August!
I have seen most of your videos. Like your kids i also like wanton mee😂. I tried weng kie, char siew was amazing. In august i will try golden city restaurant, and the stalls in cecil street food court. Actually, it would be great if you could recommend some good tze char places, with nice cooked dishes to go with rice. Thank you
Hi. I'm a Penangnite like you and raised here since the age of 3. I just stumbled onto your RUclips video while browsing last night. I like your videos and your use of English medium, which is very rare nowadays as we are all surrounded by the next gen of mandarin speaking youths. Thank you for your content!
Good tip about asking the farm's specialty
Ah! Durian season coming! Yay!
Already started!!! Faster come and eat CK! Now prices dropped already

Very true! A lot of my English-educated aka "banana" friends starting to speak to their kids in Mandarin. Much to my horror!
Where do you park? The last occasion I gave up after 30 mins!
I parked at the indoor carpark behind Mr. DIY. RM2/hr
