Update Jan 2025- most of the stores are now run by non-Malaysians and they don't put their 'heart' in preparing the dishes. As a consequence, quality has tanked and it's a great shame. Many of the stalls are also permanently closed. No longer as popular and maybe only one-third full, even at weekends.

Beware what you eat. You are what you eat. I used to eat crazy. Now I suffer with high cholesterol and diabetic type 2.

This is one of the best nasi kandars in town.. when my office was on Union Street, I used to eat there nearly every other day.. the fish is fresh and the fish curry is fantastic.. others are great too..😊

If your children like good quality pies, cakes..I got to know this company opened their store in Gurney Plaza..called Melvados. I think you kids will love the brittle..best seller Almond browney brittle. Rainbow n double chocolate cookies..hahaha my frens children must have in their snacks box to school. Okay I am not paid for this But have tried most.

I have had Onn Kee chicken rice in Ipoh, which was very nice. Excited when they opened a branch in Campbell Street. Unfortunately was disappointed with the offering. Found it to be very expensive, and on top of that charged you for chilli sauce, soya sauce, clear soup.. Won't go again after that.

No such thing is free in NZ bro NZ is very expensive!.. when you kid's go school you got to pay uniforms and books even sometimes pay fee's also food is very expensive and rent also health system is getting slack when my daughter was pregnant i was shock when she said they have to pay $80 just to go scan to see the baby so imo make sure save alot of money when you want to come over to NZ and be prepared.
