I have to mention that the US mission where you rescue Price and Ingram happened 2 years after Kommandobefehl (Commando Order) was issued, where it states that any and all Allied commandos who are captured would be summarily executed, even if properly uniformed or attempting to surrender. And if caught in enemy uniforms, they would be handed over to SD and executed, if they weren't killed in battle beforehand. So by the time the 101 Airborne starts their missions, Price and Ingram would be long dead
This game represents "Less is More" to me. I love it more than the ones with ultrarealistic details, over the top skins, microtransactions and broken promises.
Also represents the times, as all of what you said weren't even a thing yet. I at least want to return to the time of finished, working products that need at most a few patches through it's life. Speaking of Medal of Honor, it would be nice for you to one day cover Airborne and Pacific Assault. It’s more fun knowing Pacific Assault likely got the Makin Atoll Raid more accurate than the one in World at War.
They'd have trouble finding many things wrong with Pacific Assault, it's the most accurate game of either Medal Of Honor Or Call Of Duty as franchises.
This is by far my favorite COD campaign. It's got good variety, healthpacks, the 3 nation setup, big battles, clandestine operations, a micheal giacchino score, and it's not too scripted to have bad replay value.
One more thing. U.S. Paratroopers in Normandy had camo canopy parachutes, not white, like depicted in media, even Brothers in Arms gets this detail wrong.

45:32 it is worth noting that Repnikov's house was much further away from the square of the fallen fighters, a few dozens meters behind the train station, which itself was about 2 blocks away from the square.
The Jericho trumpets on the Stukas are either for gameplay purposes so you would notice them coming in for attack or a misconception in that they always make that sound by design and not via an add-on part

Hey Frosty 1 I was hoping you would make an inaccuracies episode for this cod. As pretty usual a very entertaining video, always looking forward to see your content. Keep it up bro 😁😁😁
Have you considered doing this with the Brothers in Arms series? It’s one of my all time favorite WW2 game series, and think it would be interesting to take a look at?
Hey Frosty! Another thing to Note about the "Panzergrenadiers": They appear to be wearing to "Schlupfhemd" style Camo to be worn over the fieldblouse, but the Fieldblouse itself is missing. The shirt they are wearing is the Field Undershirt, which would not even hold the obviously missing collar tabs.

I'm kind of wondering when you're going to make a inaccuracy series on the Medal of Honor games. As I remember a lot from the old medal of Honor games, especially medal of Honor rising sun, you saw Marines using m1 rifles during the Battle of the philippines, and as well even not even wearing historical uniforms at that point. And that's not only to mention the other accounts of other things they got wrong in various other games. Plus as well if you take a look at Medal of Honor frontline, or as well Medal of honor European assault you do see a few variations of inaccuracies here and there as well.
Would be cool to see more of these "older" games like Brothers in Arms, Sniper Elite: Berlin and even the Delta Force series. Also, great game despite it's inaccuracies. Probably one of the best WW2 games out there, not THE best, but obviously up there. Fun fact, internally this was named "The Medal of Honor killer" Also yeah the fact that you don't secure Carentan or hill 30 is criminal.
I love these. People call this sort of stuff nitpicky but it’s educational and when you have as much impact in the world as cod does, every inaccuracy does pile up.
I recommend a mod for this game: Call of Duty United Fronts. Not only does it expand the game and combined COD and COD:UO, but it also fixes a lot of the historical problems you listed
I wouldn't say "a lot", it fixes like maybe 5 of the inaccuracies in this video. It doesn't go as far as the WaW mods. But this video will still be a helpful guide, to know what should be changed.
Gonna be honest I think WW2 offends me more than Vanguard Vanguard was obviously made as an expansion to Warzone, so all the wacky cosmetics and bullshit attachments make sense, and i honestly think it would be way better if they just went all B-movie rag tag team of soldiers like an 60s movie with Nazi conspiracies, they flirted with the idea but never committed WW2 has no excuses, is just an copy of Band of brothers and downplays the concentration camps so much, like, they downplay the holocaust to say it was used on American pows and like Yeah they were but I am sure concentration camps were famous for an whole other reason They simply don't mention the holocaust or it's victims despite having an concentration camp

I just realized that you talked a little bit about the multiplayer maps in this video. This has made me realize that it could be quite interesting to see you do a breakdown of each games multiplayers. You could do a section breaking down the maps based on real locations, then the realism of the maps that are historical fiction, before finally breaking down every other aspect of the multiplayer (Such as weapons and their attachments, kill-streaks, and historically inspired cosmetics). I think when it comes to blatantly incorrect cosmetics like Bozo The Clown and the like you should just add one point for each of them. Then when it comes to uniforms that are inaccurate, but based on real uniforms, you can break down each aspect that is wrong. Finally, historically inspired uniforms can be broken down fully. Not all of them could be done this way, but I think that myself and others would still be interested in seeing the multiplayers broken down in the same way as the campaign.
Really nice. Do you think you'll ever look into Call of Duty 2: Big Red One? Apparently, it seems to have the most historical accuracy, especially since the devs got a lot of input from the actual veterans of BRO.
2003 Call of Duty. Honestly, more accurate than Vanguard, not like that is difficult. Even with the, understandable due to technical limitations, inaccuracies, this game is still pretty good on being accurate. I certainly liked this game. Of course then there's the Soviet campaign which starts off with Enemy at the Gates the playable movie. That can be excused as CoD loves doing this kind of stuff for dramatic and intense moments. (Edit to correct for wrong year listed)
I really like that you acknowledged that a lot of these decisions are so because of ease of development or hardware limitations, and I'm doubly glad you'll keep pointing them out nonetheless. Great video as usual!

After watching your series on historical inaccuracies, do you think there is a possibility of seeing this for the "Medal of Honor" series? I aware most, if not all (D-Day), missions are fictional, but I saw documentaries of the developers from the old games and the newest VR one, making in-depth research on the aesthetics, looks and locations rather than actual real operations done during WW2.
It's amazing that, despite being so inaccurate, the movie Enemy at the Gates inspired Call of duty so much. Might be inaccurate, but nowhere near Vanguard-level disrespectful.
Has anyone played this game when it was new back in 02' or 03' including expansion pack united offensive like me? Admit it when this was new back then alot was blown away by its concept of alot of allied soldiers fighting along the player which topples the medal of honor gameplay.

Really nice. Do you think you'll ever look into Call of Duty 2: Big Red One? Apparently, it seems to have the most historical accuracy, especially since the devs got a lot of input from the actual veterans of BRO.
Oh boy he’s done COD2 and now COD1 I can’t wait for the COD3 video
2003 Call of Duty. Honestly, more accurate than Vanguard, not like that is difficult. Even with the, understandable due to technical limitations, inaccuracies, this game is still pretty good on being accurate. I certainly liked this game.
Of course then there's the Soviet campaign which starts off with Enemy at the Gates the playable movie. That can be excused as CoD loves doing this kind of stuff for dramatic and intense moments.
(Edit to correct for wrong year listed)
Yeah and if cod 1 2 3 united offensive finest hour big red one final fronts and roads to victory are being remastered that would fix those problems
Uhh this is from 2003, not 1999.

""for gameplay reasons this exist the way it does but i will mark it anyway""
really my dude lol
Kinda curious how many inaccuracy will be in medal of honor: Pacific assault
Next: Historical Inaccuracies in Call of Duty Black Ops 6
I really like that you acknowledged that a lot of these decisions are so because of ease of development or hardware limitations, and I'm doubly glad you'll keep pointing them out nonetheless. Great video as usual!
Appreciate the video. This was in my opinion, one of the best COD games. Even with the inaccuracies, much better than most.
what about a video of Brothers in Arms accuracies/inaccuries? i think it would be fun
Ah man, no dramatic intro? I loved those…
This game is based on real events from movies. The fact that in the end you are not Captain America taking Berlin is just amazing.
Awesome! SO EXCITED!
Company Of Heroes 2 is also guilty of using Enemy At The Gates for it's scenes set in Stalingrad.
As do most western propaganda pieces against the soviets in ww2.
@@mobiusraptor7i love the stalinist cope comment's
@@spencersecrest6001 This has nothing to do with being Pro-Soviet.It's getting history in games right.
@@spencersecrest6001 Besides, during the Cold War,both the Soviet Union and the West crack down on innocent protestors and supported authoritarian regimes throughout the world.Neither side were any better than the other.
@@ahmadhadi177 at least you acknowledge there both bad
Its nice to see TIK getting some recognition for his stalingrad series...by the way maybe you could take a look at earliest ww2 RTS games sudden strike series? And cod 1despite its flaws is really a very entertaining game that gets the setting correctly
Would you consider someday checking out Brothers in Arms?
After watching your series on historical inaccuracies, do you think there is a possibility of seeing this for the "Medal of Honor" series? I aware most, if not all (D-Day), missions are fictional, but I saw documentaries of the developers from the old games and the newest VR one, making in-depth research on the aesthetics, looks and locations rather than actual real operations done during WW2.
Yes it's about time we see this.
It's amazing that, despite being so inaccurate, the movie Enemy at the Gates inspired Call of duty so much. Might be inaccurate, but nowhere near Vanguard-level disrespectful.
If possible could you do, a comparison between WaW and WWII? Good vid, keep up the good work.
YAYA FROSTY UPLOADED AGAIN! LESSS GOOOO!$! Will you be doing Battlefield 1 next?
Has anyone played this game when it was new back in 02' or 03' including expansion pack united offensive like me? Admit it when this was new back then alot was blown away by its concept of alot of allied soldiers fighting along the player which topples the medal of honor gameplay.
This is dope id love to see you do the medal of honor games at some point
Great video
He returns!
You know newer CODs and Battlefields are bad when their historical inaccuracies videos are 30 minutes longer despite not even having half as much campaign
The man's finally getting around to it. Well done!
You should do some old MOH games. Vanguard, European Assualt, Rising Sun…
not to mention all the heer and kreigsmarine shore security units and base defence personal.
When cod 3 (2006) historical inaccuracies
can't wait for call of duty 3
I hope to see big red one, finest hour and cod3 soon on here since they were my introduction to the franchise.
0:44 I am noticed that when playing the game 😂
Asking Frosty to list historical inaccuracies in the Sniper Elite game series (day 1)
I just finshed a playthoghe of this great game and was thinking about your channle as i was playing i knew it was a matter of time for you to get to cod 1
