- Had this tune stuck in my head since it dropped and I think the only relief is going to be putting it down on paper. So here's my marching band arrangement of Kendrick Lamar's diss track Not Like Us. I did my best to translate the lyrics to the percussion section, Hope you all step this way!
giving the drumline kendricks verses actually goes insane
Thanks
we making outta the highlands with this one
Lol
Upcoming stand tune
today alone I have seen, a minecraft version, (dissing creepers, somehow good????) A toad AI cover (Yes as in Mario), an orchestral arrangement, and a short Hatsune Miku cover, this week I have listened to a villager cover and I don’t doubt more will come out soon and I CANNOT WAIT
There's a Kuromi version of Not Like Us
@@azkiya_0yt Listened to that not long after lmao
I have a lot of them in a playlist
This goes hard
If I was the principal of my school I would force the band to play this anytime the sports teams get a win
This a whole NCAA straight out the tunnel starting line up theme😅
Nah this actually insane like what 🔥🔥
Thanks
Bro would you mind if my highschool used this cuz it actually hits hard
I'm looking into the legalities of giving the arrangement away, if I come up with something then you can definitely have it
Agreed cause this is actually amazing
@@apvanlaanKendrick did loosen the copyrights on the disses. That might help
@@apvanlaan that sounds amazing, hopefully it works out!
the bass line isnt actually a triplet, its a 8th note followed by a 16th note rest three times
drake getting deep fried by a marching band💀
This gonna make ppl crip walk down the whole 50 yd line😅
When the saxes, brass, and bass drums hit they should be dotted eighth notes, not triplets.
Yeah I went with the triplets to make it easier to count for less capable bands, but you’re def right
@@apvanlaan a musician that can't count dotted eighths would also have a hard time playing triplets on top of the rest of the band playing straight eighth notes and vice versa.
i understand notating things in a specific way to be read more easily but this fundamentally alters the music and kind of ruins the groove. this isn't a sacrifice you should make. a less capable band should just get better.
First (just let me have this one)
Where can I get/ buy the score and sheet music for the different instruments
Also, just a suggestion I think it would be better if the trumpets had the flute part and the first clarinet one had the lyrics, and trumpet would jump in from time to time

Are you selling this? Like is there a way for other highschools to use this? I would love to have my band play it.
Hey this is awesome is there any way I could get this as a pdf and print it out
We need a PDF file🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Could you link a download?
can i make this my fight song in NCAA 25 😂
We got marching band not like us before GTA 6
LMAO
Tendricks
Get some shots on those tenors?
Perc is by far my weakest area, going to revise at some point and I’ll try that thanks!
lol we'd need a playable part first
