I getting an echo pop for Christmas
So, can we all agree that plugs which look like giant bricks instead of nice small plugs should be outlawed already?
I googled this & apparently it's true: I can add my blink doorbell to this device & use it as a chime (& possible "theirs someone at your door" too)

The smart speaker is nice.
Well this looks like a cool gadget
According to Alexa logic, if you tap the speaker to snooze the alarm and you need to keep the mic on, you can tap the Table, or make a sound and Alexa will hear this sound
I have not gotten the echo pop yet, but i love this video this actually helps me
and i like when you mute the word *ALEXA*
I recently bought one. Not exactly at the high ed of Alexa devices. However, i really love the looks of this Echo device and I like where the announcement light is located. When these are on sale, like now, they can’t be beat.

Hey, can you use this a standalone speaker via Bluetooth or does it need the Alexa app. Asking for potentially putting it to my airbnbs

Can you add items to a group by just telling it to add them?
i like the design. we tend to go for omnidirecional because it's more versatile, but then again rarely really need it
i just hope amazon up their game with the new AI coming up

Were you able to answer incoming calls with your Alexa Pop? I could only call with the Pop but it didn't seem to recognise when I had an incoming call.

I have a problem with my echo pop device. it used to work, but it's now not working. No matter what I do it does not display any lights. I have unplugged the power cord and waited about five minutes and then plugged it back in, but that doesn't help. I've reset the device, but that doesn't work. I've followed the instructions of holding down different combinations of buttons for 20 seconds or so but that doesn't work
How do I add pandora app that's on my iPhone to the Alexa App?
In the Alexa App tap More, Settings, and find Music & Podcasts. Then under there you can link Pandora.

Can you use this with an apple phone 6 or is this phone too old for the app anyone who knows I would appreciate your advice 😊
Hi Carol. It looks like the iPhone 6 is too old. You will need a device that has iOS 14 or newer which the iPhone 7 and above support.

Just ordered it today for £17.99 after buying a firestick during the week lol what have i done.
Thats an astheticlly pleasing speaker. But because i'm deep in Google's eco system, it makes more sense for me to stick to Google.
I wonder if we will see an updated Google Home Mini sometime soon.

Most likely because they will eventually have an Echo Dot 6th Gen. This is just a new type of product.

It has been awhile now. I'm liking the look.
This is a bad filler device as a mere distraction from layoffs and fact that Amazon is not doing anything with their smart home ecosystem laying low and cutting back. Kinda sad.
People are concerned with the collecting, retaining, and selling of their "personal" data (and you know very well what personal data means, "Tech" With Brett) - they are not concerned with big giant tech companies stealing their passwords. Shame on you for changing the topic of discourse and for creating misinformation.
