Nice review. One thing to consider with the rear cargo space is that the upper model include a digital rearview, so you can stack things all the way to the top of the rear cargo.
Possibly the owner's manual has been revised since my last download, but I did not see where it cautioned that regular fuel could lead to "engine knocking and engine failure".
A 3rd row is probably coming after Toyota switches to its new batteries which will package much smaller. A Toyota engineer on another channel mentioned in passing that the new batt were supply constrained at time of the new Land Cruiser production.
It's smaller coz it's a Prado not a full size Land Cruiser. Think of it like a Range Rover Sport, not the flagship. You guys in the US have been fooled by false marketing name. Outside the US, there's a 300 series Land Cruiser that is the full size Land Cruiser and the flagship for off-roading is Land Cruiser 300 GR-Sport
the 300 is not the heavy duty land cruiser its a luxury wagon. the 250 is a light duty Land Cruiser, if you want a heavy duty buy the 70. I'll stick with the 250 series, 200-300 is to luxury focused.
Don’t disrespect this by comparing it to a Range Rover. TheJ250 is better off-road than anything in land rovers lineup right now. Land Rover lost its way completely when it switched everything to unibody construction.
@@johnrose7212defenders not in the same league as this. Terrible reliability and unibody construction. It’s made for housewives to drive to the mall now.
It's strange that you compared it to a bronco, a jeep and it's sister car. The first two in my opinion aren't in the same class of vehicle, and the other is basically the same car. This lines up better with the Defender, maybe the Grenadier or Jeep Grand Cherokee no?
In terms of practicality and comfort...I'd rather get a 2025 HONDA PILOT TRAILSPORT..... Better engine, more space, decent AWD, decent off road capabilty,
this guy's review is summarizing hundreds of reviews

Should have made it clear that the average inventory price is not for the model tested.

The reason it does not have the third row is because of the hybrid batteries. Unless in other markets it is available with those batteries?
The seats are the worst part about the 1958
By far the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in my entire life

We know what we are getting. Nobody is getting fooled.
the back seats dont slide??? wtf man... so stupid to make the landcruiser a cramped vehicle. This should be called the PRADO even here in america.
second row even in j300 not comfortable, easy cram, not good if you >175cm 😢
