Im in a bus journey back home which will took me 8 hours. Stumble upon newly fresh JOMW video of pure 44mins of goodness put a smile in my face. What a way to spend my time. Thanks Jody
When I saw a JOMW state of the collection... I clicked IMMEDIATELY. And then when I saw it was 44 minutes long I knew this was going to be a good one! ;) Just starting the video now... I can't wait Jody!
After seeing your review of the "Tiffany Blue" Cadisen diver, I went ahead and bought the "white" model. The dial is a cream color, not actually white which disappointed me when I saw it in person. The hands and indices have a slight green hue to them instead of white which I also don't like. The bezel has a bit of backplay and "bounce" to it. Lastly, there are the hands. I thought I would get used to the Mercedes hands but still can't because I've never been a fan of them in the first place. I bought it because of the specs and the thought of owning an affordable white dial beater watch appealed to me. I want to sell it. At least the bracelet is comfortable to wear. Nice collection, Jody! Thanks for sharing!
Great collection Jody . Makes my little 25 watch collection look positively puny! My new pickups were all chronos, 3 of them, an Orient JDM Panda, a Pulsar Solar, and my only AE watch this year, a Mission to Uranus Pagani, V4, no date, my first Pagani and I love it. Got a replacement Royale with the green world map to replace a lost one, and a G-Shock Mudmaster GG-1000 for trekking and climbing. I had one shaky nails watch, a red G-Shock GA-700, but despite her 5.2" wrist, my wife stole it and wears it regularly! I wouldn't have gotten much for it anyway. Very entertaining video indeed. It did highlight one glaring omission from my collection, I don't have a GMT, will definitely put that right in 2023, will likely go for an orange Seiko, but will go to my trusty Seiko AD and get one that's lined up!
You bugger Jody… Just HAD to buy the Baltany, the one I loved the best (apart from the higher end stuff). Love the Barton’s too, so it might end up looking just like yours. Guess a big thankyou is in order really 🤜🤛 cheers 🍻
Amazing share Jody. Will definitely be supporting the new micro brand when you open up the shutters 👍🏻 Am sure whatever you come up with will be blind-buy-worthy… In terms of what you’re missing… going through the vid I was surprised by lack of German made as you say (surely a Sinn or Hanhart at some point to replace the Oris 65) but also the relative lack of colour. The Stratton Feynman and Steeldive etc of course are in there but with what we’re seeing from the likes of Farer and AnOrdain I think taking the collection in a brighter direction to balance the sea of Black, White and Cream dials could be a really nice move. All the best for ‘23
Jody I’ve recently picked up a Casio EFB-108D I’d love for you to grab one and tell us what you think of it, Casio getting in on the integrated bracelet hype. For 80 GBP that I paid I think it’s an absolute gem of a watch!
Thank you for showing us your collection Jody! It is a real treat to see it and to listen to you, talking with so much love and knowledge about your watches.
Thanks for the video! Please consider reviewing a Casio ProTrek, such as the PRW-61. I'm curious as to how the larger diameter wears on a smaller wrist. Please also consider checking out some of the other top of the line Japanese watches, such as Citizen Attesa and Seiko Astron.
Jody, you should consider the SINN 556 series as your German watch purchase. I would like to a review from you for that model. It’s a perfect GADA watch in my opinion.
I'm poor and inclined to favor the lesser expensive and your Baltany is a beauty. Excellent choice. And for a suggestion I would like to see you pick some classic vintage pieces although I suspect that just may not be in the cards. Great variety and presentation, thanks.
A stunning collection Jody. Many of my watches were recommend by your good self and I won your December 2020 giveaway. The Turtle and the Casio DW5600 are still here but the Bambino was flipped! Already looking forward to next year's additions and your microbrand launch. Good luck!
Can you please do a full review of the citizen series 8 you unboxed earlier this year? I'd love to see more of it because there is so little information about it available especially outside of Japan
I think 2023 might be the year you finally find a Bulova’s, new or old, that will fancy your style! Thanks so much for your year round content and wonderful commentary, from Indiana (US).
I bought that same Marloe Pacific, based off your review and it's a forever watch for me I think. Not sure specifically what it is about it but I just absolutely love it. Love the brand, highly recommend them to anyone. The looks make me forgive the fit but I think i don't struggle as much as you seem to with it, luckily. Great vid.
Doctor of what Jody? Horology? I have to assume something a wee Scotsman would be proud of. What a great collection of time pieces. I tip my hat to your choices. My favourite is the Doxa, how amazing. Thanks for the update.
@Just One More Watch Dr Jody...since you want a German for your collections, I recommend Junghans 👍Super nice design, plus it's not as thick as most chronographs. They can also look cool in formal.
@Karl Senula Sinn is a good one, personally I think Sinn more suitable for sport and casual wear. Junghans just have that extra class look make it more suitable in any occasions. Especially their chronoscope 👍
Wow! 6th annual JOMW SOTC video 🎉 time certainly flies! Nice well rounded collection Jody. I agree with you on the Steeldive SD1970. It’s the best value watch out there. As for the shaky nails I’d be keeping the Yema and the Oris. You know if you sell the Oris you’d be buying another one 😂 I’d also keep one of the G Shock s for JOMW Junior. You won’t have any problems selling the rest. Looking forward to hearing more about the micro brand too 👍🏻
That gold Laco vintage watch is a real looker. Can't believe it's in the Shaky Nails section. Although, the white dial Citizen Chronomaster is gorgeous.
Pleased to still see the Doxa there Jody. Thanks for the mention again it’s great you still like the watch. As for your grandads serviced Watch. Shame on that guy. I’d never let anything out the door until it’s fully tested.
After seeing this I finally pulled the trigger on the Formex Essence Leggera. Picked it up on the black rubber strap but also added the green Italian leather strap as an accessory. Tried one on a month ago and haven't been able to get it out of my mind. Absolutely love their patented carbon fiber micro adjust system on all their strap options. If only there were a bracelet to match... But I'm very happy with it and see it as a long term piece in my shrinking collection. Down from about 60 to 30 currently.
Such a delightful watch that I can't wait to see what difference 2023 brings and yes please for more mod videos as always great seeing what you can do! Cheers Jody!
34:39 that Vostok GMT is and will always be the best representation of what Vostok stands for. Built like a tank, rough edges, quirky brushing, but good lord is it an absoulte cracker of a diver watch!! Jody I wish you a very happy Xmas, thank you so much for the many hours of entertainment you provided us with in 2022!
God I love this collection. It reminds me of mine! You have luxury watchmaking with Tudor, Omega, Oris, Ginault and Breitling mixed in with the Pagani designs, Cronos, Cadisen and G shocks and digitals, as well as micro brands and I am here for it! I love my Submariner and Seamaster Professional but also have a soft spot for my Invictas and other homage and vintage brands. Great collection!
That video made me feel so much better about the size of my collection. Hahaha Thanks Jody. I’m also excited to see your own watch when you launch it. I’m sure to be a customer.
Well Jody, what a fantastic & varied collection! I love the fact there’s a lot of history behind a number of your acquisitions. My collection is very similar. You definitely tick a lot of bases from so called cheap watches to high end. What a great hobby we all share mate!🤤👏🏼
I don’t know if it will work for everyone, but I scratched the hell out of my new Seiko with a mineral crystal, and (after I finished swearing) I ordered and used polywatch’s Glass Polish and it actually did a pretty good job of taking out the scratch. You just have to be patient and use all TWELVE strips. It takes a solid hour. The directions actually tell you to “take a break.” Hilarious. Hope that helps. Great content as usual Dr. Jody!
New to the watch thing - longest video I've watched on the subject so far - 45 mins?!!?, surely only 20!! - A total pleasure to watch and enjoy AND it put things into perspective for my wife when I tell her my collection of 28 is "not that many", her view being "how many wrists have you got?" - I tell her I have to multiply it up by 365, so a way to go yet ;)
Always a pleasure Jody. I'm having a little devil doll made up with your face and a recording of your voice saying "Just one more watch" to sit on my shoulder 😂😂. Having watched this vid. I'm now eyeing up the Pagani Design PD1673 as it's available at £70!! 😁👍 ....and that'll be my last ever, promise 🙈
I've also got a Casio W-217h and the Royale. Always thinking about a strap mod for both until I simply switched the straps between them. PERFECTION!!! I dare you to try it!
Dear Jody, I think your Omega Geneve that is running super fast may be magnetized. I have a Seiko Automatic that was gaining around two hours per day, had it demagnetized, and it is now keeping excellent time. And thank you very much for another great video!
I looked far and wide but I could not find the G-shock you showed! I like it classic square like yours with bluetooth, and not negative display. I love how clear the updated display is. Could you please direct me to the place to purchase it? Thank you in advance!
Nice collection Dr. J! I eish I had the same G-Shock 5600 you have. Mine has a negative display. It is great in the dark and better than the older negative display G-Shocks, but is still annoying.
Greetings from St George Utah, Very impressive Collection 👏 Bravo you have done it yourself, what great collection, thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with this pieces, what great is been for you. Great content as always, until next time Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family...
Jody! You can't just flash the Navitimer and not expect a comment about it, oh my! This came as a suprise for sure. And I must say, the new arrivals are easy to love, what a selection! But here I am, googling that casio AQ800..
Great video and great collection. I have an almost identical Omega geneve dynamic which has been waiting for repairs for over 10 years. must be an ex-pat scottish thing…new fan of your channel -my definite go-to when I need to hear a scottish voice and feeling guilty about owning 15 watches. keep it up.
Hey Jodie! Just so you know, those vintage watches are meant to have hooked or curved hands to avoid bumping the crystal, so make sure the jeweler also handled those hands with care and didn’t over-tighten 9:39 them
These are always fun. RE that Oceanus T200, I'd argue it's a sort of benchmark and worth keeping just on that level. The degree of finishing, the cohesive and confidently original design, and the tech involved is so impressive for the price. And writing it that way doesn't really do it justice, because the price involved could be roughly doubled before it stopped being true. It falls somewhat outside my general tastes as a "field watch guy" and doesn't go as well with much of my wardrobe (workwear, outdoors stuff, etc.) but even if I can't wear it as often as other pieces, I still love mine. I just take it out and stare at it, honestly.
Hey Jody, if you are looking to add a German watch to your collection, definitely check out Sinn. I adore my 556 from them, but that overlaps quite a bit with the AquaTerra in terms of style. Something like the U50 would definitely fit in your collection imho. The 936 chrono is also a gorgeous bicompax.
I think the vostok on the blue strap is a 160271. I would also urge you to find a good watchmaker for your grandfather's watch, once you find a good one you can keep going back and you know what to expect. Once you got a good watchmaker you could get those three vintage pieces serviced too, they're absolutely gorgeous (especially that Laco personally).
Impressive collection!!! I was actually surprised you didn’t have a Traska in there. Excited you are exploring starting a micro brand. You have lots of fans/followers that really like you and will get tons of (hopefully) positive constructive feedback. Take the best aspects of traska, Lorier, throw in some Nivada and add your own spin and you should do great haha cheers!
A real labour of love just making the video. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I thought Laco’s were German, and you still have one for now. Fantastic collection Jody, be proud be very proud sir. 👍👌
Just bought a quartz Tissot PRX (the new mint dial version - delivery on Wednesday) That Hamilton is possibly the nicest looking chrono I have seen to date.
I missed the Aqua Terra in your collection Jody - lovely watch for your wedding. Quite surprised you haven't flipped the Kamasu. There are other watches that do it's job in your collection.
Hey Jody! always enjoy your sotc videos. some thing i look forward to a year in advance lol if ever the maen falls into the shaky nails, give me a shout! haha
Watching your videos and especially the SOTC makes me reach for the credit card and think “you know, I DO need just one more watch….or ten…”. Thanks for the great content!
My collection is now at the point where I am thinking of selling off a few of them to help fund some of the watches that these videos have made me lust after. A video about how to sell your watches would be appreciated by those of us that are not sure exactly how to proceed.
I really love SOTC videos! I'm fascinated by what other people collect and are interested in. I like to compare what other people like compared to what I like. What I've generally found is that most people have a much broader varied collection than I have. My collection is actually pretty boring, centering around sport watches and then mainly dive watches. But that's what makes this hobby fun, there is something out there for everyone.
Thanks for the video. It is greatly reassuring that I am not the only "Watch Crazy" that has an eclectic collection. That said your collection probably has more rhyme and reason to it than mine does. THANKS! Jody.
Great diverse collection of watches on offer. Makes my box of divers looks a bit stale. After a lot of ins and outs I'm ending the year with omega seamaster professional, rado captain cook, seiko spb187j1, citizen challenge diver, zelos aurora and vittesse, Christopher ward C63 #tide, edox north sea '78 and a san martin nh34 BB pro lookalike. I'm a one in one out guy and really struggling with that goes out now so might be sticking with these ones for a while.
Thank you Jody for such outstanding content for 2022! Congratulations on all of your life milestones this year, all the best for 2023 and please keep the content coming.
That Tudor is amazing. I think (for now) Tudor is about as high as my realistic dreams go. Although, I could see myself in a longines or oris on my way to Tudor. Cool kamasu as well. I just picked up a ray 2 on the bracelet for $130 to beat around. If you're looking to offload those gshock squares, I could be interested.
Enjoyable video and an impressive collection, but I was overwhelmed by the quality and range on display. It made me thankful that I have sold 60 watches over the last couple of years and now have about 25 which still feels like too many. My vintage ones particular get no wrist time
I no longer feel bad for having 4 Casio Royales. Great watch and having it in 4 different flavors makes it always fun to put on. Even bought one for my father a few months back and he loves it as well.
Im in a bus journey back home which will took me 8 hours. Stumble upon newly fresh JOMW video of pure 44mins of goodness put a smile in my face. What a way to spend my time. Thanks Jody
Thanks for watching mate!
8 hours is not a journey, thats an odyssey 😉
Completely relatable, only difference my Train into London was 46 mins. Perfect timing!....
@@אלכסס-ח5ג in England 8 hours is an odyssey. In America, 8 hours is a journey. In Australia 8 hours is a commute.
Hope you made it home safe and sound!
When I saw a JOMW state of the collection... I clicked IMMEDIATELY. And then when I saw it was 44 minutes long I knew this was going to be a good one! ;) Just starting the video now... I can't wait Jody!

Well donne Jody, i bought my 1st chinese watch, thé baltany you have, a killer!!good taste, frédéric from Paris France
It's nice to see Michael Bolton done with singing and having a rebirth restoring vintage pieces
Hmmm a lot of swiss entry level luxury pices this year. Nice
Amazing share Jody. Will definitely be supporting the new micro brand when you open up the shutters 👍🏻 Am sure whatever you come up with will be blind-buy-worthy…

Yes! SOTC from the best watch channel on RUclips!!

My most anticipated SOTC of the year is here!!! Thanks for a great year of content Jody. Congrats on the grail also mate 👍
Just when I was getting depressed about an addiction that has been up to 40 watches, you announced you own 75. Thank you.
Great video and great watch collection. Thanks for all the quality watch content Jody
Fun stuff. I struggle going over 7 watches; knowing anything added will get no wrist time.
A stunning collection Jody. Many of my watches were recommend by your good self and I won your December 2020 giveaway. The Turtle and the Casio DW5600 are still here but the Bambino was flipped! Already looking forward to next year's additions and your microbrand launch. Good luck!
Wonderful collection, Jody! If you need a buyer for the Omega Geneve Dynamic please get in touch! Would love to fix it and get it going again
Woah what a beast of a collection. And the video. I reckon it must’ve been an all day event filming and editing this one. Huge!!!
I like the fact that your new arivals make a great colection itself ❤
cant wait for the 2023 SOTC!
Can you please do a full review of the citizen series 8 you unboxed earlier this year? I'd love to see more of it because there is so little information about it available especially outside of Japan
Awesome collection, thanks for sharing!
Awesome collections 👍 Really love the iconic Navitimer, especially with the old wing logo still on. Silly Breitling to ditch the wing.
Very silly of them!
@Just One More Watch Dr Jody...since you want a German for your collections, I recommend Junghans 👍Super nice design, plus it's not as thick as most chronographs. They can also look cool in formal.
@@orangedan5424 I'd go Sinn ... much bigger range of styles (maybe a 104?) ... another obvious option would be a German flieger (Laco?).
@Karl Senula Sinn is a good one, personally I think Sinn more suitable for sport and casual wear. Junghans just have that extra class look make it more suitable in any occasions. Especially their chronoscope 👍
Agreed, can’t fathom why they dropped it
Barton strap from the Great State of Texas! Way to go Dr. Jody! And nice collection by the way
Great collection, Dr Jody! Really excited about the JOMW watch, can't wait to see it. Thanks for another super fun video!
Some incredible pieces in there. Love the forevers section, I have that section myself and its my favourite box to look into
Always look forward to your reviews! Thanks

I would also urge you to find a good watchmaker for your grandfather's watch, once you find a good one you can keep going back and you know what to expect. Once you got a good watchmaker you could get those three vintage pieces serviced too, they're absolutely gorgeous (especially that Laco personally).
Bang on great watches Jody! Have a great 2023 and enjoy your holidays! O:)
What a collection, absolute stunner of a thing ye. appreciate your channel, lad
A great collection of watches thanks for sharing 👍
Just bought a quartz Tissot PRX (the new mint dial version - delivery on Wednesday) That Hamilton is possibly the nicest looking chrono I have seen to date.
I missed the Aqua Terra in your collection Jody - lovely watch for your wedding. Quite surprised you haven't flipped the Kamasu. There are other watches that do it's job in your collection.
How about a tank or tonneau case watch?
Jody, you have a super cool collection, and your videos are always awesome
Hey Jody! always enjoy your sotc videos. some thing i look forward to a year in advance lol
if ever the maen falls into the shaky nails, give me a shout! haha
for you servicing try the Watchmaker in Windsor
Your collection is so tasteful, that even "The Shaky Nails" category is awesome.
Awesome watch collection, Jody! Thanks for sharing! 🤗
Your spot on with the Bambino nearly Dr Jodie😁l certainly haven't worn mine much at all.
THANKS! Jody.
The video we’ve all been waiting for! Great collection as always Jody 🎉
Jody I must admit you that you opened my eyes to find a style of watch that suites me, ty for your channel...
The Pagani Worldtimer looks fantastic with that bracelet also. Very nice
Great video Jody! I have added a couple to my 2023 Q1 wish list!
Man you always make my week (I had to catch up after the holidays) love your videos and story’s thank you for the inspiration
Your new additions are really good. Are watches getting better Jody? Fantastic video.
