There's one thing with this and all other Tesla's that is bothering me quite a lot. Why doesn't Tesla's cars have that cargo-securing net divider that the VW has? Tesla's cars are supposed to be safe... See 6:37 into this video.

@@Elbilforeningen Ok, er et samlet inntrykk jeg får av alle anmeldere jeg ser på på youtube, men dette var første anmeldelse jeg så fra dere. Og id5 er vel den "sporty" versjonen så då har det vel sin plass i anmledelsen!
@@xdman20005 Ja, her hadde vi muligheten til å teste to helt nye sporty familiebiler samtidig, så vi grep sjansen. Så har de vektlagt litt forskjellige ting, men når prisen også er omtrent den samme og er begge høyt oppe på salgsstatistikken, så syntes vi dette ble en relevant sammenligning.
Sikkerhet ble vel ikke nevnt i stor grad her. Men begge to er vel gode her. Tesla får vel maks score i alle crash/elg-tester. VW gjør det vel også greit 👍🏼

@@tesla-spectre In the US, the ID5 is not available. I was comparing the most expensive ID4 in the US (AWD, 300 hp, 5.5 sec quarter mile, towing). If the metric is value, I think that the VW is the better choice.

Men dere tar jo ikke med kvaliteten. Skulle tro at tysk kvalitet er MYE bedre enn amerikansk. Ja, Tesla har begynt å produsere i Tyskland , men det tar jo tid ( i hvert fall 1 år før tyskerne får vist at de har endra på ting )
Agree but I have a model s myself and will change in 3 months to an ID 4. The comfort and noise in the VW did it for me. Charging speed and car speed, tesla hands down
The Y is just not worth the price. The X is really nice, but has a real stupid price. So it's an easy choice, really. Look at the steering wheel of the Y, if that doesn't look budget then what does.

The VW ID.5 GTX is an terrible performing and ugly looking car ! Tesla rules in all categories! Funny end of the video: they drive away with the tesla an lthe VW is still standing there 🙂
It has better 0-100 time, more space and better tech. Now when it comes to driving in the Nordic countries, ID5 ten times out of ten. Want an uncomfortable drive, terrible cruise control with phantom breaking and heating issues for the 4th winter in a row? Tesla is for you.
If you want speed you go tesla.. otherwise you have plenty of cars to choose from which are better than tesla, in comfort, tech and quality...I would choose ioniq 5, id 4/5gtx, ev6 plus more over the tesla..just because they are just more.. but as said: tesla is superior on speed, but thats almost all it is..
Between these two I take the VW for many reasons.Tesla is getting behind other EV makers in almost everything: New tech, new ideas, design (I give Tesla 2 years to change the interior) ride quality, customer service, overall quality, stop underdelivering in both range and charging time, cost of this "FSD", paint work... Imo Tesla has come to some kind of standstill, they have a lot of homework to do
Well, not sure about that. They usually have more luggage space than others in the same category. Infotainment is way better. Sound system is great. 4x4 and towing is almost standard. Efficiency is class leading. When you weigh in all factors, Tesla usually beats every other brand in their respective categories. The only thing people can really argue about, is subjective (like design, comfort etc.).

In the US the Model Y Performance costs $75k, the ID4 $51k outfitted the same. With the $24K difference, you could buy a spare ICE car.
This is the ID5 GTx, not the standard ID4. The ID5 GTX is a LOT more expensive than the basic ID4 which is also super slow.
