    Thank you Penny! Since I turned 50+ I have started treating my body skin like my face. I use the environ Derma-Lac and A, C and E oil after shower and recently added the Replenix lotion at night, I saw you mention this on instagram and was able to snag it at 45% off! So thank you for the recommendation. I also spend time at night massaging my arms and legs. Caring for my body skin has become as important as my face. Thank you for taking the time to share your routine!!!

    Hi Penny! I love your videos and you have given me so much helpful information regarding skin care. You mentioned in this video that you have developed some lines/wrinkles on your chest when you sleep. This has been a huge problem for me as well. I am a side sleeper and I am also 44 years old so I have developed the same issue which has been a huge concern of mine. I use a silicone wrinkle patch on my chest every night before I go to bed. It has erased those lines! I thought nothing whatever correct that but it has absolutely gotten rid of them! That was something that I was very self-conscious about and I am very relieved that I found some thing that actually works so I wanted to share that with you! Please keep posting videos!

    Penny - I've been working on my chest for months. I've done three at home TCA peels (15%), use the Faustina IPL, use red light. And literally, no change. It's so disheartening. Even my derm isn't sure if professional IPL will reduce the redness that I've had for years. Now, I must admit, for years, I'd garden or dog park without anything protecting my chest - but it seems the damage is irreversible - I always look like I have a sunburn. I eagerly await your video on the decollete.

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  3 года назад

      I have been working on mine now for well over a month and the plan was to title my video “30 day décolleté”... but I am seeing very very subtle change so I’ll continue to work on it and hopefully do “60 day décolleté” lol
      That area is just challenging!!
      It surprises me that ipl isn’t advocated by your derm bc that can really help (not that I know more than your derm-to be clear 😊).
      I’m sorry you’re disheartened, I know how that can be.
      Vitamins should help you-vitamin C, vitamin B and vitamin A. It sounds like you have Poikiloderma of Civatte.
      😞

    • @TheHoodedLid
      @TheHoodedLid 3 года назад

      @@PENNSMITHSKINCARE IPL is his specialty, actually. But, when I went to see him, I wanted the Morpheus 8 (not much result) and am now going to start a series of RF (Forma) as the Newa didn't work for me...so I'm face focused for the moment - I mean, if I had the budget, I'd do it all!
      Just looked up pictures of Poikiloderma of Civatte - that could be what I have.
      I have been taking the liposomes Vitamin C since last June and continue to take about 2 packets (sometimes just one, sometimes three) a day, after taking 3 a day for about five months.

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  3 года назад +1

      So it sounds like he has the inmode platform-that’s what the dr I work with has. I’ve had Forma (and also treated patients with it) and it’s really great.
      Morpheus8 didn’t do much for you? How was it pain wise? We have fractora, which is the predecessor to Morpheus 8 and I saw some nice results (mostly on the neck).
      For vitamins try topical for your décolleté. Retinoids at night, vitamin C and B and sunscreen during the day.
      Just a suggestion ❤️

    Would love to hear your opinion of using chemical exfoliants on body/underarms as form of deodorant. From my understanding that’s what Lume is and I’ve heard of other ppl recommending use of Chem exfoliators at night to stop odor in arm pits but not what products are recommended or type of exfoliators and if there’s skin concerns to be aware of. Also curious about using them for KP and wondering if I should buy a targeted product or if a serum from the ordinary or inky list would be more economical if I’m applying it frequently to stop chicken skin look after shaving or on legs for kp. Thoughts also to prevent razor burn or ingrown hair around bikini line? As I’ve heard the KP bump eraser from FAB is good to use on bikini line and I imagine underarms or neck for men that shave… for same reasons exfoliators can be helpful like I mentioned before. Thanks!

    I have an urgent matter with my face. Everything I put on my face( with exception of cox ra snail mucin) burns my face to the extreme. Even procure for rosacea. That usually helps when my rosacea flares up. What can I do? So miserable!!!!!!!!

    What was that mask you pulled off in the intro?? I was so hoping you’d talk about that! I have found that a good mask is the only thing that really hydrates my super dry skin!
    I hope you can cover the those?
