    the first part is a bit easier now because of the new bridge. before, you have to go down the river before climbing up.
    that very steep off-road section is called "mga buko-buko sa buaya" as per local habal-habal drivers 😂

      that's true! I remember going downhill and having to brake because the water was hgher than expected

    It's a climb 1/4 mile from my house, I live on the side of a hole. I climb to start my rides and climb to finish them, and I ride dreaming of flats and wish I lived near one.

    The most daunting route I ever done is danasan. I have yet to try it again though but Ive been looking forward to try if given time hahaha

    100% I'm not climbing that. Max 25% maybe for 30 seconds to a minute then I'm done. I'll walk the bike up faster, to me that's when there's no point in riding up it, I'm not getting paid to do this! I'll do 100 miles a few thousand gain no problem though.

      haha unfortunately a lot of the really good cycling in cebu is up steep hills

    That climb all the way to pamutan esp when u start at sapangdaku is nasty.

      11/42 in the back and a 38 (i think) in front
