Lol i understand why you ask him some of the questions you do because you know some of the audience will be on it lol and the whole Fire Extinguisher while welding near the gas tank is a great idea even if it's empy. My Uncle and little brother were working on a vehicle and my brother was welding on a gas tank and my Uncle didn't do his due diligence that day and check the tank a third 2nd time to make sure the fumes were completely gone so inevitably a spark met with some fumes and "i dont want to say explosion it was more like a contained combustion" created enough oomph!! Coming from fuel pump opening and displaced enough air in the garage to push the entire front wall with the bay door intact about 10" from the gargae and somehow NOBODY WAS INJURED. The wall was still attatched enough the were able to oush it all back and obviously had to repair it better than it was built it was apparently a 3 wall barn originally meant for horses whoever owned the property prior built the front wall lifted it to the rest of the building and nailed it in olace with 12" spikes 😂😂😂😂😂. My uncle said he was glad they didnt know what they were doing because he feels like there would have been more damage than that. He also said that he just happened to look at my brother right as the spark fell and my brother had the look in his eye of "oh well im dead now no reason to even try and react"
This is the first time I've heard of anyone running AC coolant through parts of the Intake system. Makes so much sense. The power lost by running the AC motor must surely be outweighed by the gains and better running through lower IATs?
@@stabellc that was my understanding as well. Also the reason why a lot of tuners remove the AC altogether. But more modern, efficient systems must be out there now? I’d be curious what the sacrifices in power would be compared to the gains of having more stable, lower IAT. I mean, people install charge coolers that use pumped liquids around a closed Intercooler to do the same job?
@@bradleyhanlon not sure about that.... I never disassembled one, so I don't claim to be an expert, but I don't ever recall reading/seeing anything like that on them... They did have a charge air cooler, but that used engine coolant, not AC refrigerant.
@@sarnieken I am not sure I stated above well enough.....all A/C compressors run only when you are less than full throttle...as soon as you mash the accelerator the AC compressor clutch disengages and there is no drag on the engine...no loss of power...as long as you have thay pedal onthe floor....it has been that way for more than 40 years....nothing new. The neat thing is the ac chilled intercooler coolant is acting as a thermal battery....doing its job pulling heat from the intake air even if the ac compressor clutch has been disengaged at full throttle....like any battery there is a limit to how much it can store (in this case "Coolness") and if you ran at full throttle (like a top speed run) you would eventually overwhelm it with heat. That is until you drop back off of full throttle and resume normal driving and the ac compressor re-engage and quickly chills the charge cooler coolant again. All this work it does is only done when you are not asking for full power from the engine....so you would not notice any downside...other than perhaps less mpg while cruising. It is really a win/win system. No downsides.
Man I just love these build videos and especially the montages with music choice. And the cars just transform with the work put in. All round super inspiring stuff! And I'm out here in the UK wishing it was this simple for myself but your work inspires me to get working on my car. 👍

@@thehandleishothott The Redeye that Dodge gave to Freddy was a test mule, and it was going to a crusher (at least that's what was said in the previous video) Manufacturers really can't sell Test Mule cars because they have none of the legal things to make it drive on public roads, So Dodge insisted they can take the Drivetrain and the surrounding parts from the Mule car, and they did this instead, which is quite a great thing than having every parts go to waste

2nd gen Lightnings did it as well
The AC compressor on every car always shuts off under WOT. (Wide open throttle)...it is only stealing your power when you aren't needing it.
I like Jack! His sense of humor goes well with the team.
exactly - such a nice guy, great humor and immense talent. Hope Tavarish pays him well - because this man is real deal for the channel.
Man I just love these build videos and especially the montages with music choice. And the cars just transform with the work put in. All round super inspiring stuff! And I'm out here in the UK wishing it was this simple for myself but your work inspires me to get working on my car. 👍
Been a month since the last video. Hope that's a sign of something crazy! Stay healthy while we can't wait till the next one!!
Damn its been 5yrs since i first watch your car line up from aston to the dually so proud of you man!!!
Hellcat looks amazing!! 🔥🔥Keep up the good work from one RUclipsr to another!! 👍👍👌👌
Jack seems like the best type of friend you could ever ask for. Nice build !
its actually so impressive how you can take one car strip it dow and rebuild it again but on a different chassis it is so tedious but so satisfying when done.
I must have missed the why… Why did he do this? Or what was wrong with the original?
@@thehandleishothott The Redeye that Dodge gave to Freddy was a test mule, and it was going to a crusher (at least that's what was said in the previous video) Manufacturers really can't sell Test Mule cars because they have none of the legal things to make it drive on public roads, So Dodge insisted they can take the Drivetrain and the surrounding parts from the Mule car, and they did this instead, which is quite a great thing than having every parts go to waste
@@davidjudd564 thank you!
Tavarish: you'll see a lot of videos on my projects this month (feb/march)
Also tavarish: hasn't uploaded for a month😂
Bro I love the speed running through everything however I also like knowing what you're doing so that way I can also do it isn't that the point of these videos
Awesome episode. Jack is a sleeper. A rounder who's skills are current and top notch. I'd like to see a ride of Jack's being built someday. I wonder what it would be?
Cheers 🇨🇦
Should’ve kept it looking like a V6… ultimate sleeper.
845RE is what the V6 Charger/Challenger has, Hellcats have the 8HP90. Not to be at all snarky, just info for the viewers.
Fantastic transmissions, ZF planetary style. We have the 8hp75 in our ecodiesel wrangler rubicon and absolutely love it.
that paint job was incredibly mesmerizing! great job
