The great thing about Mcfarlane figures is that they are so simple to kitbash that even if a release isn't great you can usually frankenstein something together closer to your preference.
Boomer rocks, he might be on my end of year list. Just hate to see a long-awaited character get saddled with someone else’s legs. I would have liked to see what they came up with from scratch, especially at a higher price point.

He is missing out on money he could be making if he puts them out as a general release, He is selecting the wrong characters to do this with. It's probably well prodded ground by now, but in case anyone missed that and they're having trouble finding an AM. My Aquaman preorder got dumped by Target. I'm assuming a lot of others had that problem too. I only saw ONE AquaMan out there; the one I bought. Ppl said they were readily available but not where I shop.
My first DC Multiverse Platinum figure is the First Appearance Batman. Was able to get him for a few dollars more than the normal one. As for Sgt. Rock, I'll just give him an assault rifle from the Munnitions Pack and then pretend that he's a time-displaced soldier since WB for some reason is still smoking something weird for them to remove guns for their DC characters.
On point great review. Just like you said, we don't need chases nor silly re paints. Release a decent figures that are relevant to the series or characters that are somewhat similar to the source material. Instead of the nonsense we are seeing lately.
Went to Target about a week ago and they ONLY had the platinum versions of Starfire, Penguin, and Boomerang on the shelf. The distro was definitely strange on that wave.

I guess it all depends on each person individual experience, where i live it is expensive to collect McFarlane Toys even the ones that you see on clearance on some toy collectors´ videos, so the we can be forgiving for the price is outta question, i got my beef with some of Todd´s decisions (putting Plastic Man as a Baf), luckily i got to order the figures from a Department Store with some discounts and hopefully get them sometime around next week, i´m excited about 90s electric superman and Aquaman doesn´t seem bad, another Batman, even for Baf, come on Todd, this was the wave to get i don´t know Tomorrow Woman, anything would have been better, but anyways I´m happy everyone is getting excited for the near future. Anyways good work and keep having fun.
WB is the problem that Sargent rock doesn’t have guns. I’m not interested in most of these upcoming figures but was happy to get the variant of penguin.
I love the Multiverse line. Sure there are things I would change, but that can be said for any line. For what it is I like it. My only real complaint is the no guns and I know that's a DC thing they aren't allowing. I would like a bit more diversity, maybe move away from the Bat universe some more, but I know those sell well. So I get that, and we are getting random C list characters. Which is what I want from the line, characters we've never gotten in other lines. Really though, I'd be happy if I could just get a Guy Gardner. He's my favorite Green Lantern and the only one of the core four we haven't gotten yet.

If they would consistently produce product at the level they are actually capable of (and actually do once in a while), I would agree without question. But they still generate too many "WTF?!" moments from too many people too often. Fingers crossed they continue to improve.

Price point is a mess all around for Multiverse. First Appearance bats is a steal at 22. Penguin makes no sense at 30.
