The wolf fight is kind of tragic… if you did the DLC first you go back in time and rescue him when he was a pup and then when you fight him in the main game afterwards he recognizes your scent and cries that he has to fight you. It brought me to tears back in 2011

your videos are great and the quality never fails to impress. my favourite platinum hunter hands down. i think posting platinum guide walkthroughs of some of your favourite games or the hardest ones you’ve done would be a really cool series too. you’re clearly good enough at these games to do it and i think it could bring in a new stream of viewership to your channel.
It's a popular saying that the hardest souls game is the first one you play, so it would make sense that this one wasn't too bad for you. It has pretty much the same trophy list as every other souls game, it's just most people's first one! Great video as always!
If you enjoyed the game and not just in it for the platinum, you should definitely try the dlc, it’s got some of the best boss fights in the entire story! Plus some excellent lore to it as well…
@@nick_arou have to go back to where that golden golem you kill in darkroot basin to free the dusk of oolacile is and there will be a rift looking thing. interact with it and it’ll throw you into the dlc. there are some prerequisites (maybe just freeing the dusk, but google it to be sure) to access it and you have to do it before killing the final boss or you’ll get thrown right into ng and the rift will be closed until later again. you should give it a go even if you don’t want to make a video on it. it’s definitely worth a play and imo has three of the top 5 bosses in ds1 in it. 1. ornstein and smough 2. artorias 3. kalameet 4. sif 5. manus

If you do the DLC, you should DEFINITELY restart the main story (even if itll be a pain in the ass to do). After doing a certain DLC, the boss fight start anjmation for Great Grey Wolf Sif changes, and it's... well, i wont spoil it.
Hey Nick!! Please dont miss the dlc. It comes with the remastered version for free and it’s such a great dlc and 2 of the bosses in the dlc are arguably S tier and better than any boss in the actual game. It does not have trophies tho but since u say u like to enjoy the games and not just get the plat I thought i would drop this

The thing that makes the dark souls platinum so hard for all 3 is getting all the rings, you have to do dlc for some than do a ng+ cycle to get most of the others.

Great video!!! I think a lot of people make a big mistake by relying on the drake sword too much in the beginning, not realising it turns useless after a few bosses. So you need more time to get used to a new weapon in more difficult areas

Heyy congrats man! Having platinumed this game twice (original and remaster) and every other souls game, I can say that the hardest one is DS3. Not because of difficulty per se, but because for every magic/pyromancy/miracle/etc achievement you need to not only join covenants, but upgrade your level in them, and for that you need to either do some online, which is difficult, or grind hours and hours (with max luck boost) to farm the items. It's A PAIN
