Time and Place:
January 2011 during Cyclone Bianca
Injidup Bay just south of Yallingup, about 3 hours south of Perth, Western Australia
Overwhelmingly, the surf is shite here cos the beach faces NNW and the prevailing swell and wind comes from W or SW.
Surf like this is a once in 10 year occurance.
How do I know? I've been questing for Australia's perfect uncrowded waves for 50 years.
But many years ago, I stopped after finding something better in Sumatra.
