I received my Golden Collar and Golden Plate, and both are great. I purchased a Myoungshin Fanta separately and I noticed that the dust cover has a little bit of plastic sticking out from the side. I was wondering if it's necessary to use this smaller sized dust cover or can I make use of the larger dust cover that you receive with Sanwa JLF / Crown 309MJ sticks?
What's the measurements for the collar that sticks out above the plate? I have a custom stick in which the plate is mounted straight to the wood. So no space for the protruding collar above the plate. I want to know so I can at least try and make some space to fit the protruding area.

Focus Attack has the octagonal one but sold out of the circular one. I know you can buy them direct from Korea but the shipping is more then I’m willing to spend and was hoping there was somewhere in the US I can buy the Golden parts.
I heard this is not compatible with crown 309Help-me. But is this compatible with crown 309MJ? If so, I'll finally have my target setup of korean joystick with sanwa balltop+shaft cover+dust washer and square gate.
Cobalt it will need Golden Core for Crown to be able using golden shaft and actuator. For now we will test compatibility of golden parts with crown model.
This is probably entirely too late to get a fresh response but I'll try anyway: changing the collar height doesn't require a change in shaft length? Also: does the square collar shorten the throw a lot? I'm intrigued by the square collar as a noob to k-levers, but I don't know if I'd be "ruining" my experience.
No need to change the shaft length, changing collar only effect horizontal movement. Vertical (length) remain the same. Square collar have the same throe distance for cardinal, but for diagonal the throw is deeper. Square collar are very good for easy diagonal

So with the golden collar and plate, I no longer have to drill a 35mm hole into my Japanese stick to make the myoungshin Fanta fit?

Unfortunately It is not available in US right now, the only way to get is by importing
