So funny. I have her book and was working with it a couple months ago, then got side-tracked with other projects. I just pulled it out yesterday to continue through the exercises. It's a nice book. I think one of the best exercises I got out of the book was her suggestion on "breaking in" your sketchbook - opening it to various pages (not in order) and just adding some doodles to some pages, or adding color or taping in a piece of colored paper, etc. Definitely recommend her book.
Love this book! I've worked through Days 1-9 so far. I really appreciate Minnie's clear directions and how she gives prompts to take the lessons further.
The book looks amazing in all ways: accessible yet inspiring projects, well organized and thought out, and solid production. I'll definitely put this one on my wishlist!
I love Minnie, I didn't know she had a book! However knowing already the basics, I sometimes hope people would skip the basics in the books. It would be great to have like exercisebook for those who have been drawing for 10 years already or something.=D
Just bought it Ty for the book review I didn’t know about it. I’ve watched her channel before but don’t follow regularly. The book looks helpful thx again!
Teoh..love your artwork.. Hay,do you recommend Stillman and Bern over the Crescent Rendr SketchBook for watercolor.. I'm want to start watercolor but want to make the better choice between these two.. thanks..
I've not tried Crescent Rendr SketchBook before so I can't say much. Stillman & Birn is still good. You can see all my sketchbook reviews here www.parkablogs.com/tags/sketchbooks-drawing
@@teohyc thanks for the reply,I did some more research and I'm getting the stillman feel better about that one..this is a first for me I never owned a SketchBook..ha just looked at that link More research for me thanks again..
