  • Part of Yeoman warder Bill Callaghan - aka Billy Beefeater's legendary tour of the Tower of London.
Yeoman wardens are made of UK military veterans - Army, Navy, and Royal Air Force.
A visit to The Tower of London is an excellent way to learn about British tudor history. Don't forget there are also the crown jewels to see!

Thanks so much for posting this Paul, it has appeared on my social media feed and I’d not seen it before. I have retired now and it’s a bit of a self indulgent treat to see myself back in the job I loved. Thanks also to those that have commented below your kind words are really appreciated. 👍🏻

Thanks Bill. It was an honour to meet you and have you as our guide on that day. If you are ever visiting RMAS again please message me. Would be great to meet you at my "office" for a change!!

Bill, congrats on such a successful career. I’ve watched a number of these videos this week and they’ve been both entertaining and informative. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks this.
These videos have reminded me that I absolutely must go back to the TOL - history at its finest.
      All the best.

SuperAncientmariner: You have to be a wealthy footballer, pop-musician, sleazy politician or a political hanger-on in order to receive any such honour.

We also had Bill as our tour guide in late October last year (which just happened to be the hottest day ever on record for London.... it was an absolutely beautiful day). I can honestly say that he was one of the highlights of our trip to London. British humor at it's finest. Do you happen to have any more video of him from your day at the tower? I ran out of battery on my camera and only have about 4 minutes of the tour with him in it. Your video quality is much better than the ones I have seen on RUclips. If you could share more video of his tour that would be much appreciated :-).
