Love your channel so much, you are unique that talks about photography, specifically street photography, spiritual stuff, life and happiness. Keep it up and share more of your thoughts :)
Greatly appreciate your kind words. Yeah, i'm trying to make my channel something that I myself would watch and maybe "attract" some like minded people on the way :)
Nowadays, there’s not that many videos that I watch all the way through to the end. But this one, I thoroughly enjoyed your openness and perspective. I will say, there’s *some* things I challenge about the positive mindset movement. But that being, I loved how you spoke it and translated your experience.
Appreciate the time and you watching the entire video. I would love to hear some of your thoughts and objections one day because for me, what's to object, a large portion is simply being positive and showing gratitude haha. But again, a conversation for another day. Btw, love the videos youre pumping out...i'm a little jelly at the pace your putting them out too haha. Props.
@@jaeAre200 Haha, I know what you mean. It sounds so pretentious to even type it out. Like wait, is this guy AGAINST being positive?! Haha, not the full story. Would love to connect in person brother. Might be a long shot, but I'll be in Paris this October. Let me know if you'd be open to meeting up. Hit me up on IG if you wanna connect and shoot! Thanks for the kind words brother. Talk soon!
Seriously Jae, one of the best videos I’ve watched all year! Had to go through this one almost twice. Definitely gonna look more into that book as I need to adjust some things in my life.
Thanks man, that says alot. As for the book, i wish it would be hyperbole to say its a serious game changer, but it is. Cool thing is, the entire book is backed by Science as well. The simple premise of why Trevor Blake wrote the book is worth the buy itself. The man sold 2 businesses for $100 million EACH prior to writing the book. He doesn't need the money. In fact, all proceeds go to cancer research and he donated 1 book to every single library in the US, just in case their was a lost poor kid like himself that needs access to it. Crazy.
great story man 100% legit to share it with the world. discovered your channel bc im in the same process now looking for a leica t(l) clicking any video with leica in it lol, (although im in a huge renovation project in Portugal) and indeed I can strongly visualize how to operate the camera without seeing or touching it, maybe bit obsessive but hey as long nobody is bothered right? and I see now a year later I find your journey quite relatable. btw Spanish women pffoeeff, I know brother, by god I know...
You are exaaactly right! "It's bothering nobody." So I used modern technology to my advantage, watched every single M6 video out there to help me visualize, even the ones in Chinese, literally--not even joking. I would even go on pintrest and screen capture a bunch of photos. Sounds dumb as hell, but it truly helps. So good for you man, it'll come. Dont worry about the How or When. It'll come. Btw, my wife laughed at your last part of the comment hahaha.
Great video Jae. It was cool to hear your work philosophy. I had a similar feeling when I saved for a Leica M8 in high school. I had thought about it so much that it was almost natural to hold one in my hands the day I got it.
Thanks appreciate it. Yeah, meditating and visualizing is starting to become a big factor in my life right now, kinda cool what the mind can do when you clear out bulls*&%. Btw, saving for an M8 while in high school??? Man, I was saving for FILA shoes back in the day haha. Wish I was as smart as you.
Great video! Next is the Summicron :) I have to check out that first book. You should check out the Alchemist book. It’s a nice short read or listen to the audiobook.
Greatly appreciate it brotha. And you already know the Summicron will be on its way haha, dont know when and how yet :) Oh, and i was actually gonna mention THE ALCHEMIST in this video. "If youre under the age of 25 read THE ALCHEMIST, if youre over the age of 25 read THREE SIMPLE STEPS haha.
I picked up an M2 in really good condition for $875. From Hong Kong. A lot of clean bodies and lenses coming out of Asia. The Leica lenses are insanely expensive but I managed to pick up a few as well. I went with vintage again. I shoot mostly retro style photography so that is actually fine for me, even a plus. I have the Elmar 3.5 (1949), Summarit (1958) and Summicron (1958). Could sell them all for more than I paid for them. But not happening.
Thanks for your time and comment. I think thats the double edged sword i'm learning with Leica. You buy and love it, and then you actually never sell it even though you could possibly flip it for more haha.
Hahaha. Damn it, now I have to use the law of attraction to get Your new Leica that was once My Leica. Is there Reverse-Law of Attraction? "Hmm...I wonder if you can reverse it?" said an infamous cow girl once upon a time ago. (Sorry, I made this weird quick)
Thanks so much. Hope you enjoy the videos, I true to be candid and truthful as I can...and above all, not so serious, we're making photos for gawds sake.
Greatly appreciate it. Yup, as I've gotten older, my life hacks are visualizing, putting things in muscle memory, positivity and most of all gratitude :)
Thank you man. Greatly appreciate your time and comments. I try hard to keep things on a positive note...it's like working out a muscle, you have to start somewhere.
i always wanted a black paint Leica MP, then i had a friend give one to me for about the amount you paid for your m6. basically a steal. could not be happier. next goal is a 35 lux :))
jae rose oh I did it. I have a Leica m7 with a 35mm summicron. I bought my car in February for $3500 I put a little elbow grease into it and sold it for $6500. Now I don’t have a car and I need one but I have a Leica. I listed a whole bunch of old gear and the faster I sell it the faster I can buy a car and quit riding my bike. 🤪 my husband thinks I’m out of my mind!
@@oceaniccurrents Yooooo! WOW! Good for you!! I love this, for the simple fact of, "how bad do you want it??" Not just with cameras, but just LIFE. I've always said, I used this camera bullshit as a microcasm for life. You can achieve stuff if you truly want to. Good for you. And you'll get the car you want too :)
I law of attracted a Contax t2 in my life for $5. I started with positive attracting parking spots in busy lot at work to the camera.

It’s crazy how the universe works. I feel like this all the time. I always believe things will work out, and 9/10, they work out
Yeah man, it's crazy what can happen when you simply just block out negativity or your own negative thoughts.

“Fortune favors the prepared mind.” - Louis Pasteur. I too, attained my LEICA gear through the LOA. Intention and zero doubt.
Loooooove this! Thank you for that quote, and congrats on your intention :)

Everyone says if a deal seems just to good, it usually is to good to be true. Not so.
Definitely agree!!! Except when it comes to a for Vegan dishes hahaha. "Aint nooo way!"
