Yes i just got it here in ireland , non peak times gettin 150-300mpb, peak times slow as 10mbp but it still very rarely buffers ,over all happy with it compared to what we had, hopefully peak user times dont get worse
@@brainhomestead6 thats good , maybe theres a good bit of use on the satelites over ireland at peak times, im hoping it doesnt get worse tbh , i was expecting lows of 30mpb but not 8mpb . But its still ok during those busy periods ,in a way its peforming a bit better than what test is reading ,with 8mbp still streaming live sport in HD to tv with little to none buffering
I’m in sitka Alaska. Really steady 200MBPS. I see into 300 at times I did have a no service the other night for about 12 around 9pm First time that’s happened. Do you know of a link to follow the launch of satellites to follow them until they come online? Thanks for posting
I’m not sure about tracking satellites that aren’t online yet as SpaceX wouldn’t want people to know that, but I do know it takes 2-3 months from the time they’re launched to the time they’re active. SpaceX just got their launch license for the second shell of another 12,000 satellites on December 1st of 2022. That means that these v2 satellites will be coming online in a few weeks.
That’s a bummer. I’m in Ocala Florida and just ordered the best effort. So tired of being treated like a 3 world country. I take that back 3 world places have better service.
Thanks for the updates and all these speed tests 👏👌
No problem, it’s about time for any round…
Thanks for helping me decide👍🏼
No problem! It’s a big investment initially and I want to make sure people know what to expect.
thanks for the information as always
No problem! I’ll try to do another one or two in the next few days.
After waiting 3 years, I’m finally able to get Best Effort service.
I’m hoping to get the same speeds you’ve been getting.
These speeds are during the day. It slows down during peak times, I have quite a few of those videos as well.

@@tommoore3292 so far, my peak time speeds have remained constant or even a little better in the last month.

@@brainhomestead6 do you think starlink will get better with more people joining or worse? I suppose if its worse then people will start to leave

I'm in VA. I've noticed my speeds getting faster lately
I’ve been noticing that too in the last two weeks. SpaceX has been back to launching every two weeks.
It it because spacex has launched 250 satellites since early Dec 2022.
@@Persianking1997 I don’t know if those have come online yet or not. It usually takes 2-3 months from their launch date until they come online.
Starlink is going to put HughesNet and vaisat out of business
I’m really hoping so. HughesNet is borderline predatory.
WNC here on best effort. My speeds are trash. Less than 10mb. My dsl is faster
During peak hours it does get down that low for me too, but it keeps getting faster.
