Given that Connie Rasinski directed this. I’m not surprised some of this cartoon teetered more into “diet Disney plus” at times
Rasinski was a stellar draftsman alongside the other Terry guys who didn’t get their due in until Gene arrived. Even if the old staff complained at Gene at first, it was because they were already bitter at how Paul Terry treated them

The version you’re seeing here is not the theatrical version (with its proper opening credits), but a TV print. Sorry, Steve. Not the best way to see Terrytoons.
