I'm pretty sure it's just the lighting in that particular scene making his hair look darker. If you look at the character render alongside Eddy and Lidia at the end, he has his usual grey hair. Also he's WAY younger in Tag 2, like in his 20s or 30s at most with a full head of hair.
I have a feeling Heihachi has managed to get ahold of specific sorcery for his revival and one of the side effects of that Sorcery is making him look younger.
I have a theory that nobody has mentioned. In the trailer it says "The king of Iron First Resurrection" and the last time they used that in game was for T5:DR. In that Game his father Jinpachi was resurrected by a demon and you fight him in a volcano at the end. So my theory is that he was revived the same way Jinpachi was. It would be crazy if his Rage art/Heat gives him a demon mouth on his torso and he gains ground wave projectiles.
i would love it to be a guy thats just obssesed with heihachi's style and is essentially taking on his mantle and carrying the legacy so to speak. that would be awesome. another theory is that the thing that brought jinpachi back, that crystal demon stomach mouth thing, also found its way to heihachi
Yes, I think it is a clone. Remember the additional game in Tekken 5, when you play as Jin in third person fighting game. During the game you fight a clone of H. Mishima and a clone of ogre. It could also be H. Mishima's son. We already know that he has been going around the planet womanizing.

I just imagine him using the volcano as a hot spring and coming out taunting kazua about how rejuvenating that volcano was
REAL. this is some Tekken logic right here, and i’m all for it

It may be a clone of Heihachi, and not the actual guy.

I've heard some people think it's just the Volcanic Ash caught in his hair
Dumb idea to bring him back. Especially so soon.
Yoooo. Good video. Imma sub
He's the same as the from tag team tournament
Interesting. that old man never dies 😂. your idea 💡 seems reasonable.
