Your statement is so exciting and solidifies my drive to get one of these… I have a 2600 clone and it’s possibly my favourite synth, it’s so raw and experimental and at times unpredictable, which I love. I’m guessing you have a solar 42, if so please can I ask you, how likely do you think a composition or experimental performance would start to sound the same after a while of having the machine? There’s something that’s irresistible about it.
This sounds (and looks!) INCREDIBLE! As mainly a guitarist, this somehow feels so relatable an instrument that it's hard to resist. Congratulations and hopefully I'll welcome it into my studio at some point!

Outstanding synth demonstrated with a superb improv. Kudos to the creator of this synth and the music. Should I order direct from ELTA to UK or from a supplier in the UK?

i assume the reverb comes from the machine's own module. But it could have been from the Italien alps as well. Very nice piece of music you performed on this beautiful instrument!
After 4 months of waiting, mine should arrive around the middle of this month. To me, the F stands for “I got my Solar 42… Finally.” :) In all honesty, the anticipation just builds the excitement for me. This one was a long wait, but I think the Shared System Plus and/or Model D may have been longer.
The wait combined with the lack of support for a traditional keyboard was a bridge too far for me. I’ll be looking for a good alternative, but might end up unsatisfied until I just build something myself.

I saved money for a year and I'm ordering one through my (most) local shop, pretty much now. Is 42F replacing the old version? Will I automatically be preordering the 42F version?
Hello, thank you very much for your video. I just received the 42F and have a question to ask. When I rotate the cutoff knob, there will be a rattling noise, especially in the Link state. The left cutoff knob will produce a piercing low-frequency noise when rotated. When I control the cutoff through LFO CV, there will be a rising sound like waves, which I think is normal. However, if I rotate the cutoff knob at this time, I will still hear the low frequency noise of stabbing and stabbing. When the rotation speed is fast, the sound will be obvious, but if I slow down the rotation speed, the sound will be much smaller. Excuse me, is this a normal phenomenon for the uploader? thank you

Dry outputs of volt-octave voices are now displayed on the front panel (mini-jacks).

They added distortion mainly. ( + A few tweaks on interface)
