- Hi friends,
Happy New Year to you all! Here is my new song "Dune", which I composed and recorded live just using the Moog Sub 25 together with the Valhalla Supermassive. It has also been the intro of my recent live sets. I love this jam because it is something very different from the things that I usually do and also transports a big cinematic energy. Hope you dig it too and have an awesome 2024. 💜

Great, but you forgot to add the second part!! ruclips.net/video/FjHon6yg-r8/видео.html
@@pyrocoladaThat was pretty good tbh. But I want more of that big sound in Miles' piece.
looks me nice, as intro from movie ............ the sound hacks your emotion
Only a question ..... why so short, i think longer is also nice for people who work with the track like dj s and so on? I there a specific reason for?
@@flipflipflap8293 not a specific reason, just was that the track for me felt right at that length. It was also a complete live recording without structure so I went with the flow
May your moog never chip nor shatter
underrated lmaoo :)
Haha this is brilliant! 💜
Tbh I find it a bit invasive and uncomfortable when you refer to it as my 'moog', but thanks pal. Same back to you.
may thy knife does

If that kicked off a live show, I can only imagine people losing their minds.
I’ve actually already played it as an opener in one of my recent live shows, for which I streamed the final rehearsal here: ruclips.net/user/liveIkFmL6lOIJA?si=v9lCIjbaZ5XjSTDv
oh, cmon! this is just a beautiful music
This is why I love synthesis. The composition is simple, but on this amazing machine it sounds absolutely massive.
Great to see you over here Jimmy! And yes, that’s really true - the Sub 25 sounds huge which is what I really love about it. It cuts so well through the mix. Thanks for checking out the new song!
TRUE!!!
Would you say it sounds… supermassive?
With just an octave and a half too
These moogs have such a massive Sound. You can split the sea like Moses with that sound😊
Love your comment 😂
Would be a good name for one of their next synths. "Moog Moses"
Haha loving this thread - Moog Moses would be a great name for their next model!
@@Piratesteve81 😂
😂
Wow! If you close your eyes up, you feel like among the desert on Arrakis.
That’s exactly the vibe I aimed to create. Thank you!
Agree.
I used to work outdoors in Phoenix during the summer.
It broke my internal thermostat and I identify as Fremen now.
I never leave my house without water.
And if you close your eyes down?
Dear ladies and gentlemen, here is the reason why a Moog synthesizer costs a little more than some other synthesizers from other manufacturers.
Because people pay more for the same or less if you do the math correctly.....
Maybe they cost more because of the history they carry, the Moog are the synthesizers with which Giorgio Moroder created, forged and started the EDM electronic scene since 1977...
Well, I don't know. The instrument is obviously well thought out and of incredible quality. From what I've seen, it's lovely, and if I get the chance I'll try to acquire one. But there are plenty of mediocre demonstrations of Moog synths out there. This guy is just incredibly talented, I am pretty sure he could have made a great song with some other gear too. It might not have been the same song but some other very good song. There's people making incredible music with a pair of sticks and a few plastic buckets.
A little more expensive ?
Just saw this synth used for $500us
That really Mooged me.
Doesn’t make any seense :)
truly the beginning of a Darksynth masterpiece
This is exactly why the synthesizer was invented.
We totally need a 10-hour version.
This is my 20th viewing and it's still not enough 🔥
Damn this is SOLID. Never underestimate the power of a Valhalla plugin!!!!
Word! They make really incredible plugins
That whole world of sound came from that one machine?! My mind is just blown!
Yes, all sound is generated and recorded in one take on the Sub 25 which is running through a digital reverb/shimmer plugin (Valhalla Supermassive).
@@MilesKvndra Valhalla supermassive is GOATED. Fantastic plugin. Especially for free
@@boalston2484 It truly is! I also love their Vintage Verb probably one of my favourite reverb plugins.
@@MilesKvndra what kind of signal were you running into valhalla supermassive?
@@whydidyoueatsnailpo the synth signal from the Moog Sub 25 at line level
That was a religious experience.
Hope it was a good one - thanks Brenda!
Relax.
Almost a chant for lost souls.
Spiritual for sure
Bi-La Kaifa!
LOVE IT! Please make a whole album/playlist. I WANT more please. May your blade never chip or shatter!
Cheers Xentric! I’ll work on new music for sure but never know in which direction it drives me. :)
Hypnotic as deadly Arrakis desert.....
Wow, inspiring piece. Massive and beautiful. I am blown away!❤
Jesus Christ I was so high when I first heard this 3 days ago and it was a truely ascending feeling. I still love it sober tho!
Haha that’s great! Love it when music can transport you to other spheres 💜
DUDE! I have listened to this track soo much! it's amazing! Really great tribute of what a synth can do. I'm starting to hate doing syth stuff with a mouse or mapped knobs... really considering the sub25 since wathing this vid a gazillion times :D
Thank you! It’s really a great synth, having a lot of fun with it. 💜
super nice man! bravo
Wow. I'm awestruck. Got shivers down by back. That was amazing, thank you!
Thanks a bunch for tuning in and the great feedback Magnus 🙏🏻
Richard Wright is smiling down from the cosmos... and Miles Kvndra smiles back.
Wow that’s a huge compliment. Can’t deny that Rick and Pink Floyd have been a big inspiration 🙏🏻
@@MilesKvndra ...and it was a compliment well-earned. From the first measure I was transported to Floydian nirvana... Thanks again for posting this.
super dope
Discovered this a few days ago, and I can't stop coming back. Excellent work!
Awesome to hear!
It seems like a simple melody, no more than 10 notes, but such variety and sound! Thank you ❤
super cool performance 👍. what a beautiful instrument
This is great. The amount of tension built throughout holds me and I love that there’s no drop despite all the anticipation!
Thanks a bunch Christopher! Yeah that’s exactly what was the idea to build it up and then to basically fade out again. Glad to hear that it works for you too!
Right? It just kept going and going
Wow, LOVE this, really huge sound! The slow evolving chaos in the swarm fading in and back out, very well done.
Thank you Jesse, glad to hear you dig it! Something different but I’m really happy how it turned out:)
Superbe, félicitation confrère, j’adore cette musique spatiale et bel et efficace instruments
This is a wonderful piece of art. I listen to it when I am writing. It also sparked interest to play such an instrument. I guess, it is nothing less than a wonder, when something inspires one to create. My humblest thanks for making this.
Awesome to hear - it makes me really happy when my work inspires other artists 💜
I just waited for drums to kick in. This sounds absolutely fantastic!
Already loved the short. This is epic 🤘
Thanks a bunch dude! Really happy you dig the short and long version :)
Wish there was a full album of this so I could have this on loop. Incredible!
It totally blew me away. I loved it! ❣
Incredible sounds, I could listen to it all day
A perfect soundtrack! God bless moog (and the other synth). Very good job!👍
Absolutely cosmic. Awesome in every sense of the word. Speechless.
Thank you so much! Glad that you dig it 💜
So much Charakter, love the reverb and the crescendo with the noise. Well played amazing Tempo and feel. Thanks for sharing this Creative piece with us
Thanks so much Curi! Really appreciate it - sometimes it’s just a reverb and 2 analog oscillators you need to write a complete piece :)
Stunning! Thank you for sharing! 🤍
Beautifully done, Miles. TY!
Thanks for stopping by Ray 🙌🏻
Wow...overwhelming ..like a soundwall of pue power...it is absolutely awsome. I love it
Thanks so much!
Fantastic ! I love this instrument. Bravo 🇨🇵🔥
Thanks Aleixys! It’s a lovely synth for sure
I’ve listened to this dozens of times, watched it a couple. Phenomenal work.
Thank you!
Just a blessing.... Woooooooo.... Thanks a lot ❤
Amazing! Got goosebumps when it reached the top of the Crescendo and I couldn't help but inagine some really fat kicks setting in and thumping away at that moment.
Love that, thanks so much! And yeah at my last live show, where I played this song as an intro, I brought a kick in at a later time. :)
Damn!!!! The sheer intensity of it. I cried man. The shivers were intense.
It’s really amazing to hear that my music triggers these emotions. Thanks for sharing 💜
So beautiful! I'm very impressed.
magical and terrific I love MOOG series
Woowwww🙌🙌🙌 No words 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Absolutely atonishing!! 👏🏼 Bravo!!
Great to hear that you dig it Becky! Cheers 🙏🏻
Dude, amazing control! Love this
Very cool! Powerfull and exciting!
Transcendental. Otherworldly. Well done.
The videography is the most inspiring thing I've seen in a long time! It perfectly matches the music.
Thank you! Glad you dig the video element
How seemingly simple and subtle evolves to transformative composition. Well done!
Incredible. Really loved that.
an epic story told without a word. Amazing.
That’s exactly what this piece was meant to do. Thank you 🙏🏻
got dam this slaps
crazy how so many people overlook the absolute final destination type of audio power that synth have.
Yeah you can get really intense with the Moog Subs!
Absolutely awesome
Wow....Absolutely amazing!!! thank you so much for the music, I'm totally impressed
Absolutely stunning
Thank you!
This is awesome. Love the tension and drama build up. It's to easy to get carried away with delay/reverb/shimmer, here it was spot on and complementary to the composition. Really like this one.
Cheers JB! That’s a great compliment - tried to work a lot on the sound side, glad it paid off in the end!
This one kind of went viral right?! I'm partially biased because I'm into ambient/dark ambient but maybe you should try to explore more of this 😉
Congrats!
@@jbssynthstuff it really did and I’m actually super happy that so many people like it! Cheers 🙏🏻
Thank you for this haunting melody but also sharing your technique and craftsmanship to create such an enveloping and transportive soundscape… I am beyond impressed
Thank you so much! Happy to hear that you dig it and also find the breakdown useful.
I have goosebumbs 😲 Wow
Absolutely brilliant! ❤🙏
🙏🏻💜
Ah, yes Moog. Where the images arise in your head while you listen.
Outstanding!!
Great performance and yet so simple ... mesmerizing!
One of the BEST music electronic never created
Well done Bashar Miles Teg - your superior mentat ability is made apparent through your innate proficiency with this Ixian synthesis device.
Miles Teg getting tortured with the T-probe and his subsequent "ascension" is the most badass sequence in Frank's novels.
Amazing!!!...
thank you, it's just perfect.
I was listening and i immediately knocked out. Switching from rain sounds to this at night
Great vibe 💜
This piece of music felt like staring at the face of God. Thank you for making this.
Mind-blowing experience 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Well this was sick! That slow filter open was so satisfying
Glad to hear Anthony - thanks!
Brilliant composition.
Simply,
Thank you
perfect kick off a lives how. amazing
It will indeed be the opener of my live show in Zurich end of the month!
This feels like if Vangelis composed Dune
That’s a big compliment!
Délirant, sublime ✨🎹
A masterwork - I remember commenting a year or so back that I played Ambient but really liked your music. Now Im just plain jealous - superb. What a synth!
Thanks a lot! It is a great synth indeed, I love that it works great for live and studio works alike. Don't want to miss it anymore
This helped me understand synthesizers a little bit better. Thank you.
That’s awesome to hear - thanks for tuning in!
Siiiiiicccckkkkk!!!! Heading out to the man cave for a sub 37 jam right now. Nothing like a Moog. Inspiring.
This is awesome to hear! Hope you had a great session 💜
This is epic,, absolutely love it.
Really cool how all the subtle changes you made create such a big impact
Очень круто!

I'm blown away, that's so sick 😲
Fantastic 💫
