The main issue with the Redmi Note series nowadays is the software, not the MIUI itself but, for two years, they decided to release it at the end cycle of Android. 2 years of OS update for a mid range is good, but when you release it on Global with Android 13 when Android 14 is came out, it's kinda lame, to think that you only get 1 major OS update.

Agree. I don't understand this obsession either. I have old devices with Android 6 (tablet), 7 and 10 (smartphones) - still work decently, all popular applications are supported, function properly and receive updates time to time. The only downsides are the current lack of power and poor battery life due to worn-out batteries. My main phone has Android 10 and it works perfectly, although I may upgrade to 12 and it will become worse in terms of performance and🔋life. Updates often harm devices over the years. Moreover, in recent years there is no significant difference between different Android versions. Only the number of version changes. Well, several elements in the shell will change its places. Just use the smartphone as long as it meets your requirements. That's all! 💯✅

@@Techtablets agree 50 degrees is a lot, but it is what is, games are less and less optimized, hardver is faster and faster to catch games, it will become worse in the future.

Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Note 13 Pro+ both uses same 200MP sensor with 1/1.4" size and Xiaomi 12T Pro has larger 200MP sensor 1/1.22" which is larger than S23 Ultra's 200MP sensor 1/1.3"

@@Techtablets have you tried to record with a fixed/locked exposure? I'm currently using the Asus ZenFone 9, and it has a extremely good stabilization gyro/EOIS to prevent any unwanted choppy images when recording, I've discovered that if using a fixed/locked exposure, and using the camera function and just long pressing the shoot-button, then the videos are often better than if using the actual video function, otherwise I'd definitely recommend to use the pro-mode for recording. I've still to figure out how to utilize the camera so it doesn't bin down the image size because then frames easily get too blurry if cropped, but hopefully the modders who work on the gcam APK's will figure that out sometime soon as it would in my opinion make the most of the current camera sensors that the phone has as it doesn't seem as Asus have any plans on optimizing the camera software whatsoever, and even DXOMARK seems to have been banned from doing tests on the Zenfone 9 as even if I ask the people at DXOMARK about it by email, messenger or even on their social media where they actually are quite quick to respond to peoples questions, then anything or anyone who askes about reviewing the Zenfone 9 camera systems just gets ignored. 🙈
Where's Xiaomi going with this? They removed something that people actually appreciate, the 3.5 mm jack, but kept the god-awful 2mp macro? Even the 8mp ultrawide is still kinda trash. with the battery result was that with 120hz enabled? 8 hrs of sot is really good
It was was the default setting which is up to 120hz.
@@Techtablets are you going to be reviewing the 13 pro variant ?
Can you change the screen protector?
Whats with the design? Why make it curved and all too
When will it be released to the global market?
you know when this device official open
Does this phone have a stylus pen?
Why it's problem when the phone gets hot, like 13T pro, that just means that the manufacturer made really good heat removal, the core is cooler and the body is warm. If the phone is cold, then all the heat stays inside. 13T pro did really good job, like Note 13 Pro +
Hmm because it's uncomfortable to hold and game on a hot phone that's over 50 degrees C?
@@Techtablets agree 50 degrees is a lot, but it is what is, games are less and less optimized, hardver is faster and faster to catch games, it will become worse in the future.
If you have used the note12 pro plus you would not expect this one too much.
Yeah currently using one
Whats the app for battery wear?
I just prefer a single well decorated main lens than to have 8mp & 2mp useless lens added on.
Same here.
How about redmi note 13 pro review??
thanks for another honest and great review 🤗
but Redmi Note 13 Pro+ didn’t share the same 200MP sensor used in Xiaomi 12T Pro! Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Note 13 Pro+ both uses same 200MP sensor with 1/1.4" size and Xiaomi 12T Pro has larger 200MP sensor 1/1.22" which is larger than S23 Ultra's 200MP sensor 1/1.3"
And still when comparing various test results on photos and videos, then Samsungs software is miles ahead of Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco when it comes to the finished quality/results.
Yes, you are right sorry I thought it was the same sensor.
Yes Samsung optimised the camera a lot better than Xiaomi here.
thanks, it's better or 12x? battery not important
12X is better I love that smaller phone.
Why they can't up their game on the secondary cameras?
Even my 4 years old LG phone has a triple 12mp camera setup with optical zoom
Cost cutting.
Can you do a review on the mid range version. The redmi note 13 pro
pls compare it with RN13Pro
Curved for sure.
Definitely prefer flat screen. Curved screens always bothered me even when they were all the rave.
Oh no, Redmi are ditching the headphone jack too? What a shame
They removed SD card support too.
Il sort quand en global ?
I hope you'll make a comparison test with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A55 once it is released.
Maybe if I end up getting the A55.
You didn't mention, it has IP68 water resistant rating.
É confiável giztop?
Si
Behold, the charger in the box😂🤣
The frame is not of plastic. It's aluminium
At 11:06 what app did you use to test the battery wear level?
Antutu
Aurr naurrrr!
Pls just wanted to clear my doubt, I heard on the Chinese Rom some banking application or some app will not work in general
I live in Australia and banking apps and Gpay work fine on this phone.
Developer options drain the battery on my Xiaomi devices
Curved screen is better.
Where's Xiaomi going with this? They removed something that people actually appreciate, the 3.5 mm jack, but kept the god-awful 2mp macro? Even the 8mp ultrawide is still kinda trash. And its not like Xiaomi is known for excellent wireless headphones. The curved screen may be new to the Redmi series but its a polarising feature for sure. I bet most would prefer a flat one.
Do same this type review of redmi note 13 pro also please
Not sure I will buy this one.
Flat an it would be my second phone
Why is the note 13 pro is much more higher score in antutu than note 13 pro+?
Different version of AnTuTu was used?
Didn't make the test under water. It's suppose IP 68. Or not???
Yes I forgot to unbox it underwater with scuba gear.
Review Poco F5!
Yes but coming
@@Techtablets yeah every week I'm coming to your channel looking if you review Poco F5/Note 12 Turbo 😅. Nice to hear the review is coming 🔥
android 12?
Cool phone
Is it better to use the Chinese ROM or the Global ROM? I've been told that the Chinese ROM supports OTA but the Global doesn't!
Global supports OTA, if a seller or someone tells you did doesn't it's because they have flashed a Chinese version to global which broke OTA. The global version is coming so maybe wait for that.
@@Techtablets The seller told me it's because of the Unlocked Bootloader, that's why it doesn't support OTA.
Correction it comes with Android 13 not 12 and 2 years of OS update will take it to Android 15
Sorry yes Android 13. No idea why I said 12.
bro how can a 2019 flagship get 683k on antutu with exynos 9820 and this new good midrange gets 725k i mean its bad bruh getting s22 or iphone 13 for the same price is crazy
Different class of chipset remember this is new midrange phone. But I get your point buy an older flagship 👍
We want to review the Redmi Note 13 Pro, please
Sorry no plans to buy that model.
No 4k 60fps is a killer and the 2mp sensor is bad these days. Come on Xiaomi you can do better than this.
Use Gcam on this device and make a video
