Thanks TT, This looks like a great mid-ranger option for many. Even tho I am not a gamer, also looking at the Poco X6 Pro as a possibe candidate. Camera is important, so a X 13T may also be an option. We'll see in a few months, as my Poco F4 is only 9 months old and does the job well for the time being.
In my country The the Redmi N-13 Pro and the 13 Pro + sells for the same price, so it's a no brainer which one to get, when the time comes.

I still use the Redmi 10 Pro which i got for 260€ and a Fitness-Watch. Over the years the Redmi Phones got more expensive without adding any big improvements. Adding useless IP68 certificate, removing Headphone jack and still missing video output over Type-C port and no wireless charging while asking more money doesn't make any sense to me. I think the Nubia Z60 Ultra is a way better option at the moment.

Poco X6 pro is £80 cheaper and has a lot better dimensity 8300. Redmi Note 13 pro+ has ip68 waterproof which is rather must have for me and maybe a little bit better camera. I can't decide as well. I'll wait for Galaxy A55 and Xperia 10 VI. They should finally put a better processor compared to SD 695.

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?
It looks so nice there with the palm trees and the mountains.
    And so clean too!
My Samsung Galaxy S8 had a curved screen and I hated it due to accidental skippings when watching RUclips videos.
I have the 4/128gb 4g Redmi note 12 since October and I'm really satisfied with it.
Charging and battery life is great.
And it has dual sim and SD card and a headphone jack 😅
But I'm also still on Android 13 though and it's said to get at least up to Android 15.
And as for the bloatware, I mean that's how they're keeping the reasonable price so low.

  • @davespagnol8847
    @davespagnol8847 3 месяца назад

I got the Chinese ROM version last autumn which is about £100 cheaper than the Global ROM. The trader had installed Play Store and deleted all the deletable apps, leaving about 6 apps on the phone. So I have no bloatware at all! I've investigated the possibility of upgrading to the Global ROM and it's not advisable. I've tweaked it quite a lot, and the Chinese ROM barely gets in the way.
The fastest data speed I've managed to get on it is 4G+ which is about 3 times faster than 4G but it's not 5G. I don't know if having the Global ROM would make any difference.

@@dlaccc if you prioritize performance, the Poco X6 Pro offers a better chipset and also offers UFS 4.0 compared to the UFS 3.1 in the Note 13. That's basically a near flagship performance.
But if you prioritize build quality and cameras and Charging speed, go for the Note 13 as it has aluminium frame and glass back with Gorilla Glass Victus protection, compared to the Poco that is made of plastic, also the Note 13 pro plus has a waterproof rating of IP68 which is rare in midrange smartphones, meanwhile the Poco is just splash and dust resistant. As for the charging speed the Note 13 Pro plus blows the Poco x6 Pro out of the water with lt's 120watt hypercharger in the box.
In summary, if you want flagship performance go for the Poco and if you can sacrifice a bit in performace, even though I think the chipset in the Note 13 pro plus is enough for most users in the midrange market, and you want better build quality then go for the Note 13

On the other hand, we have X6 Pro with better chipset but decent (not great) camera & ugly look. Then, both Note 13 Pro & X6 exist with the same chipset but the former followed Note 13 Pro+'s main camera just like X6 followed X6 Pro's main camera. Also X6 series get HyperOS but Redmi Note 13 series still remain MIUI even after updated to Android 14.

The differences between the Pro and Pro+ aren't huge but good,
The Pro+ has a better chip, the Dimensity 7200 Ultra compared to the Pro's SD 7s Gen 2, it has an IP 68 rating compared to the Pro's IP54, it's 12g heavier at 199g (or 204.5 g for some models) and has ufs 3.1 storage which starts at 256 GB instead of the Pro's UFS 2.2 storage which starts at 128 GB. Overall tho, except for the added power I don't think not many people would miss the Pro+ by going for the Pro.

Well the whole point of the curved screen is to mimic Samsung's flagship model, they don't care about durability plus if your phone breaks easily then you'll fix it or buy a new one, more profit for them! Only if consumers will stop buying that and they'll stop selling these, there's a sentence I've included in my morning prayer that says, "please don't ever make an iPhone with a curved screen." If the iPhone has a curved screen then flat screen phones will soon extinct with the 3.5mm audio jack for no reason. 😅
