Some tips for people who would wish to play this. When it comes to territory control and Plant spawns it works like this: - If all Plants are killed, but there are still red sectors around a new Plant will spawn inside any red sector after a short delay, making sure there is always a threat of a Plant on the map - If there is 1 Plant already a second Plant will spawn after a few minutes in another red sector that is not currently under attack and has no Plant in it - If there are 2 Plants no other plants will spawn, but they will initiate invasions on your sectors more often - An invasion that is currently underway (meaning the arrow markers on the map are getting filled) can be fully stopped in it's tracks by entering the initiating Plant's sector. Invasion will not progress as long as you are attacking the sector with the Plant My general tips would be to only defend sectors which are under attack if there are no invasions that are close to finish (meaning arrow indicators on the map are far from being filled). That way you can disable incoming invasions by killing Plants and capture new sectors efficiently, rather than focus on sector that are already under attack and letting new invasions commence. Strong offence and fast capturing wins almost every time against trying to prioritize keeping already captured sectors.
Here is a tip for people who want to play the game:if you dash and then jump right after, the traveltime seems to be shorter. No idea why, maybe momentum carring over.
I just recently finish the game but the one thing that kinda bother me was not seeing artoria standing at the title screen with the other servants. I already unlocked her but whenever I go back to the title I only see her sword instead.
@@RadioJet2 They probably did not bother making a version of the titlescreen for when the character is unlocked because she is basically just a neat little secret and not actually part of the story properly.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Fate Extella Link. I haven't played Umbral Star yet, but when Link came out I heard enough good buzz around it that I took the plunge (knowing nothing about the Fate series), and I really loved it. Need to go back eventually and finish clearing out all the post-game levels.
7:20 I have a couple of tips for this problem: First, the install skill "Eye of the Mind" makes posible to kill common enemies instantly. Second, the Extella Maneuver, two or three bars of it (depending in how many common enemies are on the map) should fill the meters that are active fast,. If you use both, it shouldn't take long for the commanders to spawn, even in the Sectors with more than two groups of commanders.
Concerning the three starting storylines it's generally accepted that the canon one is Nero's storyline since she's the main servant protagonist of Fate/Extra and ,Fate/Extella.
A bit late, but i'd have to say Link - if you want a more relaxed experience with more gameplay. The Umbral Star's a bit faster paced, sticking to only one objective
Extella's Best Scenario, Altera Route was written by the Series Creator Kinoko Nasu. And that feeling is the general feeling and writing of the Entire Nasuverse. Especially ones written by Mushroom Man Himself. Extella 2 which is still being planned will finish the Series Plot, and from the look of it will be more like Altera Route cause Nasu plans on being way more involved with the Sequel
EXTELLA Link is a direct sequel to EXTELLA, so unless Nasu retcons it with ''EXTELLA 2'', then what was the point in making it then? also, he kinda retconed EXTRA out of that canon as he rewrote it while EXTELLA was in development the rewrite started out pretty much the same as the original game, but it then deviates around halfway through in order to better fit it into EXTELLA and EXTELLA Link, and also pretty much retconed EXTRA CCC's existence as well in other words, he created 2 timelines within the Fate/EX branch: 1- Fate/EXTRA + Fate/Extra CCC 2- Fate/EXTRA rewrite + Fate/EXTELLA + Fate/EXTELLA Link
oh, and I forgot they're also remaking EXTRA as ''Fate/EXTRA Record'', which so far doesn't confirm if it'll follow the original game's plot or if it'll be based on the rewrite that leads into both EXTELLA games
Seeing this, I can't help wondering why there's no Digimon themed Warriors-like game. We've had Digimon World 4, but that was really clunky and more like Gauntlet. Digimon and Warriors, with all the history Digimon has with the anime, manga, drama CDs, etc... It would be amazing if done right.
Also, one thing to note is that the camera is kinda straight up GARBAGE. It`s zoomed in too much, can`t lock onto enemies, and randomly gets stuck on nothing. When I say nothing, I mean nothing, since it never actually seems to collide with geometry, it always just stops for no reason.
Here is a small idea. Why not try a review at rwby grim eclipse. It's sort of a warriors meats batman arkum (might have spelt thag wrong). I personally like it.

Thanks for the honest overview. Going to check these games out. :) probably wait until a sale lol.

technically, all of them are canon, they just happen in parallel timelines within SE.RA.PH

It is not Marvelous' first time... Wasn't Senran Kagura also a Warriors like thing?
I wanna get both games because I love the anime series so much
So when it comes to deciding between Fate/Extella The Umbral Star and Fate/Extella Link, which one is objectively better?
I would say fate/extella link but I would recommend play the umbrella star first.

Fate extella link is very good
I have seen clips of the anime but never watched. I will just stick to the warrior games from koi techmo. Thought this aint bad for a first attempt.
