nice review, I was waiting for your review for fate extella for the ps vita before I buy it and you surely did a great job, others said it was good but I wanted you to be the final judge of my decision to get the game, awesome review, keep it up.
I have this Gal Gun, Valkyrie drive, MEi O, Grand Kingdom, World of Final Fantasy, and Trillion that I havent put much if any time into. Which games or games do you recomend Playing through first and/ or last? Thanks. As a collector your reviews are the best I have found and value your opinion highly
I actually kinda like the fact that they focused more on the relationship between the MC and their Servant in the first half of the story, since you're basically on a lovey-dovey honeymoon with someone who is (literally) legendarily mad and hedonistic, who is extremely in love with you after the character development of Extra and CCC, for the first two main story arcs.
sigh, this genre is so disappointing, virtually all the enemies just stand there, just in this video alone you may see enemies back away or run to you...then stand there, with the occasional attack. if someone modded this game or Hyrule Warriors Legends with actual good/aggressive A.i. then they'd be amazing! These games should be challenging, not just fancy moves against what might as well be tall grass.
ive finished Extra but cant play CCC because it was never translated. im guessing you're the same? were you still able to understand the story overall, mr trent?
Yep. I just had to do a tad bit of research to know that CCC allowed the MC to still be around during Extella rather than what happened at the end of Extra.
ah okay thank you. one last question... does extella follow a canon? for example, it was canon that the MC is male and he picked Saber as his servant? or do you choose that in the beginning of the game or what?
Extella lets you choose a gender. While the general acceptance is that the MC being Male and the Saber Servant Ending of CCC is canon (considering said ending is related to how Extella starts off), the game goes whether you choose male or female. But the servant thing is a little more complex and you won't quite understand that until you actually play through the game.

Not the anime. But it would help to play Fate/Extra first. Since Extella picks up right where Extra leaves off.
