Great video! I've got some minor cracks on the vertical surface of the crown and chips on the edge of the crown. Should I fill them in with concrete / something else or will tamoseal take of that?
I use the Akkro. I have used a standard latex bonding agent in the past, and it did not seem to be a problem, but I try to stay with the recommended product.
Tamoseal is a great product.Akkro 7t is a good bonding agent additive but 'Mascobond AR' (not SBR) is far superior. We are a stucco company (40+years) out of Portland OR and do a lot of crown repair/rebuild. Great video. Thank you. @@YamhillCountyChimney
I was asked to do this on a job and had no idea what this was. thanks for the video :)

I have a few cracks in the crown of my chimney that have been caulked. Can I put this over that? How thick should I put it on? Thanks!
Did you use the additive Akkro-7t in the Tamoseal? What happens if you don’t. Our supply company told us they don’t use it or sell it??..

Tamoseal should handle it if the cracks are not very wide.
