However, those guys in late game are too buffed, meaning even they are able to easily 1 shot MotP, making this strat useless, unless you have insane luck.

Yeah I didn’t know the damage boost was applied like that, kind of crazy how much it boosts the effectiveness of mini surge and mini wave. My lkd has aku atk up B, so I’m hoping getting the s orb will help him out even more.
Defence up won’t be doing any crazy boosts though, so unless you need it desperately or don’t have anything better to slap a defence orb onto, I wouldn’t put it on LKD

honestly, seeing one of the worst ubers in the game being able to ascend to having its own niche is absolutely incredible even if it technically happened once already since asiluga has had a similar comeback, but MAN is it special wish ponos did more ubers talents like these, going all in with insane abilities to bad units to give them a second chance at greatness, rather than the alright, but unremarkable talents they typically seem to use for them
Dodge is just such a thematically fitting talent for MotP. The whole game is mostly about risk-taking and RNG when it comes to progression. Having its survival be tied to RNG, while risky is just so true to the actual game

The 80% dodge against everything makes him unique compared to any other current unit in the game (that im aware of), and helps with his survivability problem The mini-surge helps with the DPS problem, either by doubling damage on the main target or just by delivering extra area damage to snipers And the atk up, which helps with the DPS problem This guy is now legit a decent unit to own which could potentially help with beating some stages

He managed to outmeme Nekoluga's 50% Dodge. What an outstanding feat! While he's indeed usable now, 520 NP is a lot of points that could go to better units. At least he's funny, though.

he still some niche. his dps output is higher than dragon and can be reproduced on higher rate. it's good when you want to build ranged dps is short time. having no HP means he is also more preferable to use on stage when having HP doesn't matter. it's still extremely situational unit, but far from being the worst

Holey moley ! I've never expected that mini surge and attack up talent orb could have such a great and special synergy ! I'd thought it just gives 0+5 levels in power and then calculates damage and multipiers as usual, same to surges, waves, etc. Really makes me wonder if there are some more surprises and obscure things about talent orbs i don't know... Hmmm... Does it slaps raw constant +5 levels and not +5 levels*0.2 to mini waves too ? So talent orb = plus additional damage and not just modifying base damage, _yet it is affected by massive damage, strong, etc., but not by "mini" damage multipier ?_ ... What a true king that shows the light of possibilities !
Attack orbs don't give 5 levels worth of damage, more like 10 levels worth. The bonus damage is applied after other damage modifiers, which includes the 20% multiplier for mini-surge.
Where did the +S rank attack orb stats come from? The formula for the damage boost is +(5 x Initial AP) AP and since his base AP is 1,220 or 114 DPS, the increase would only be by 6100 AP or 570 DPS, which at level 30, means 27,540 -> 33640 and 2,581 DPS -> 3151 DPS. With the NP attack increase, that comes out to 39,148 AP or 3667.2 DPS. This doesn't seem like as much as stated in the video, but I could be misunderstanding something. Also, I've never typed out AP before, but that's what the battle cats wiki uses so I'm stickin with it. Also, do attack orbs really affect surge? If so, that's quite nice. It sucks that the attack orb only affects one trait, though.

I know everyone is already saying this, but it’s shocking how Ponos redeemed a top 10 worst Uber and made him actually really solid.
