Matt, you HAVE to buy atk and hp up talents for heavy assault CAT in order for him to work. Special cats get 8% more hp/damage with every upgrade, which can go up to 80%. This also goes for every special cat you can buy, so please upgrade their stat talents.
Hey Matt, did you know if you press the cat cpu 2 times, it becomes gold. This automatically does a stage that you already did, you can also put a treasure radar on it. This will help save a lot of time. (Pls like so Matt can see)

hey matt, you can just used hattori hanzo for the final boss and replace the assassin bear cat. Hanzo helps alot in this stage he basically carries because of that long distance, massive damage to black or floating and even freezes them (good for the dark doges that often tries to ruin your defence) but somewhat also temporary freezes socrates because of his sage trait. So with hanzo, kai and phonoa you can basically uber carry this stage
I don't think Kia is good there because Soractes can freeze her so she can get many attacks but she does tank a few hits but in my opinion it a waste of cash
Soractis is the best representation of how zero legends is a broken world. There just something with this unit that seems so off... probably one of the most disturbing unit to obtain

Matt I appreciate your achievements Here let me say somethings about the Soractes unit you get: 30% freeze VS angles (not good freeze chance and low range) Has a spirit that weakens enemies attack (not useful as the others) So Genuinely not that good imo 5.9 out of 10
To correct you, 30 with his fire rate is pretty balanced and good, His huge chunk of hp and fast ark rare compromise his low hp, making him kinda rusher, His spirit makes him survive even longer plus granting more survivability for other cats, a lot of damage. It's totally a 7/10
MattShea useful tip if you complete a level and didn't get the reward if you tap on the cat cpu 2 times it will turn into a golden cat cpu which you can use with a treasure radar and you will get the reward without having to do the level again. Hope this tip comes in handy to you love your vids keep up the good work.
Matt, true forms of special rare cats have something different, better talent buffs. A rare cat's attack talent buff is %20 at max but a special cat's is an incredible %80. But not every cat is good with them. Cat assault's black targetting and massive damaga with damage buffs work pretty well, might recommend using him with those talents.
Matt, just so you know you are able to (somewhat) hotkey your units (be able to send them out by using keys on your keyboard) . I am not a PC player so i dont know entirely how it is done but there is a way to place circles with a key on top of your units (on screen) so they are able to be sent out by pressing keys on your keyboard (I recommend doing your research)
hey Matt! If you finish a stage and forgot to put treasure radar, you can clear the stage again by pressing the cat cpu twice to make it golden and activate your treasure radar, itll automatically clear the level for you and get the reward

Hey! I did this quite a bit ago and i just wanted to say that a research L combo with rock helped a lot! Its extremely useful with stalling along with octopus, and i also wanted to say that instead of rebeating the level, you could’ve just used the golden cpu with a treasure radar active.
I'm a little behind here, but if I don't feel like checking what's in a lvl(cuz I'm lazy) I use my Growing Strange loadout for my 1st attempt at lvls I don't know the enemies. It works out a surprising number of times. Great content Matt. Peace
Matt there is 2 things you need to know in this game: 1. The winged piggie (angel pig) can weaken your cats down to 10% of its attack, so ex: if colossal bengkai gets hit by he will only do 10% of its damage 2. The curse ability can get rid of your cats' abilities ex: if pizza cat gets cursed she can't do massive damage to black enemies until the curse is gone. So you need like cats that are immune to curse and the one that i reccomend is esoteric uril 3. WHY DON'T YOU EVER USE KASLI THE BANE. That unit is almost the best unit in the game. It is immune to waves, surge, weaken, warp, and curse. It acn also do surge, with long distance, and 100% curse. It's like so OP
That‘s the point of not using dasli, she’s too good for her own good. What’s the fun in playing if literally every stage can be carried by her, the game will turn very bland and become boring. Same goes for phonoa, both of these make stages and the whole game too easy which is why many players ban them for themselves
1. He figured out the first two in prior videos. 2. He banned dasli and phono because every stage was too easy, he reserves them for the hardest stages and only uses one at a time, it makes the game funner
Click the cat CPU twice on the menu to make it golden which lets you skip a stage you've already cleared in exchange for 2 CPU'S. (if you're confused about what i mean, you could put on a treasure radar and skip the stage to get the unit without playing the level again.)

Matt you should max your base health because it helps in levels like the first one you did were you died for health being low. It can also help in stages where you have to tank to kill

15:11 Matt, for zombies like zamelle, is good idea to have li'l eraser cat with "dodge attack (zombie)" talent. He has 10% chance to dodge their attack for 0.8~2 s. I hope this advice was helpful 😊.
Anyone realize that matt doesn't have crazed moneko, she is good for her combo to increase crit chance when combined with regular moneko and wave immune or wave blockers can help deal with her
Riceball, Gravici, metal macho, octo, sniper the deadeye, bullet train, and Phonoa (7 slots) works pretty dang well as well, if one doesn't has a boosted octo, but is lucky enough to have said units
A quick suggestion is to put np and special catseyes into heavy assault CAT. The main reason why is because they're essentially a cheaper yukimura, and can be a good alternative to pizza cat if you need speed for black enemies (it's range kinda sucks though unfortunetly)
Matt your problem was using the assassin bears. They could take out the first doge faster but it’s so expensive and they literally cannot hit the doge 99% of the time. Bullet Train works much better for this purpose and saves money and you’ll have way more octopus out and not lose
