- Happy Star Wars Day! In this video, we take a look at the best ships for businessmen, diplomats, and other rich people in Star Wars. May the Fourth be with you!
You have no idea how hard it was to get this video up to 8 minutes long so that the joke in the intro worked,

Joey I’m starting to think no one else is an anchor at radio free coruscant
I’m starting to think so; the staffing situation is dire…
I'm going to put up the J-type star skiff. For higher end folks it's not only an excellent transport. It also has an onboard medical facility and an incredibly fast Hyperdrive.
The Larger J-type Barge has all this and also serves as a sort of mothership for a quartet of N-1 Starfighters.
I don’t think that one is for sale to the general public, but if it is, it would definitely be a great choice. Easily one of the top 5 ships from Attack of the Clones, if not the whole prequel era!
Happy birthday to the channel.
I suggest the Crescent-Class transport from Stock Ships. Just be sure to get one that is hyperdrive-enabled. You will find that sensor-masking equipment is relatively easy to install on this ship as well. Handy if you need to entertain VIP personnel without prying eyes.
If you can get a hold of a Baudo then you'll be rolling in credits. The only issue is that you'll need to be recommended by another Baudo owner to even start the process, but if you can get past that they are always built to your exact specifications and can be changed any number of times, all for a mere 400,000 credits.
The Baudo has such a cool design and lore! I really hope we get to see one on screen someday.
You missed the Taylander it's like the private van of spaceships. But overall nice.
That would be an excellent choice as well!
@@RadioFreeCoruscant though there are discrepancies on its size like the Gozanti. The Taylander is listed as 45m. However based on Rebels, all the Taylanders that appeared even Mon Mothma's Chandrila is almost twice as long as the Ghost which suggest that the Taylanders are about 75-80m long. Same with the Gozanti which is also listed as 45m but is definitely way longer than the Ghost which also suggest that the Gozanti is roughly 60-70m.
So it's a big galaxy and big corporations. What's it to say that there are perhaps different size model variants.
I would definitely be cruising around in the Theta t2c shuttle. It more than makes up for its lack of armaments with its incredible speed but I would still upgrade the hyperdrive to a class 0.5.
I actually thought about adding that one at the last second! I ran out of time though.
I enjoy all of Radio Free Coruscant videos, happy birthday 🎉
Thank you!
Congratulations on the anniversary, the Forth will be with you Always.
Thank you!
Congratulations and happy channel birthday. You're doing a great job.
Thank you!
Happy birthday to a quality channel!
Thanks!
Happy Birthday! I really enjoy your channel, your attention to detail and most of all your relaxed, worldly wise and galaxy weary delivery.
Admitedly I tend to go for colour when choosing spaceships hence the reason Morgan Elspeth’s elegant golden arrow/spear shaped craft used in Ahsoka is my first choice. It looks fast and evil and classy.
Thank you, that’s very kind!
I like Morgan’s shuttle a lot as well. I used to have a small LEGO model of it, but I decided I needed some of the pieces from it a few weeks ago and took it apart. I’ll have to build another one someday.
@@RadioFreeCoruscant oh wow! Don’t get me started on Lego. The ship you built sounds great. I don’t suppose you took any pics if it?
@@RadioFreeCoruscant Do you know what her ship is called? I realise I could ‘google’ but I’d rather ask you.
No, but I should have! I really wanted to build the thing I was building (I think it was a Mobile Tac-Pod from Andor), but I kinda wish I still had the shuttle instead. Maybe I’ll have to try recreating it.
I don’t believe it has a name yet.
Somewhat dangerous to put the Haulcraft as the only one we've seen is Luthen Rael's highly modified ship. I'm guessing a normal run of the mill Haulcraft would appear similar to Rael's on the outside, be a little more rough on the inside and would probably be at home at any space port. I'm guessing Luthen chose a Haulcraft for the same reason smugglers preferred the Corellian Engineering's YT series of freighter, it was a practical ship that wasn't too large, wouldn't attract attention and could be modified. I'm hoping we see more of these ships in the future.
I thought about replacing it with the Theta-class T-2c shuttle (or at least adding that to make the video longer), but I didn’t come up with that until I was out of time for adding things. I agree that it probably wasn’t the best choice, though. Luthen’s Fondor is probably the Haulcraft equivalent of Lando’s version of the Millennium Falcon in Solo.
@@RadioFreeCoruscant Probably, but without a closet full of capes.
the V-21.1 Chevlex it seems to the most versatile gotta appluad Fondor Yards Commercial Ventures for that managed to edge out Kuat Drives Yard Firespray-31 and both CEC YT-1300 & VCX-100 Light Freighters.
Personally, I'd swap out the Fondor Haulcraft on this list for a Helix-class Light Interceptor manufactured by Arakyd Industries since it's a very rare and pretty decently armed small freighter, of course it's sublights and hyperdrive engines would need upgrading.
Yeah, the other comments have convinced me that the Fondor was a poor choice for this list. I’m going to pretend I picked a bad one on purpose to drive viewer engagement…
I really can’t agree with putting the haul craft in here, I’d be like if you picked up an executive in a customized semi truck rather than a limousine. I’d have included the ship the imperial agent gets in swtor and/or the lady luck instead.
I didn’t want it to just be three shuttles and two yachts or two shuttles and three yachts, and the Fondor was the only ship I could think of at the time that wasn’t one of those that we see flown by a rich person. Your suggestions would be good alternatives, though!
The Imperial Agent’s ship in SWTOR should get an honorable mention.
It was very interesting :)
The H-2 would make a great Bounty Hunting ship
Look!! A comment to drive viewer engagement and feed the algo!
Thank you, I hope it helps!
The Sheathapide is a cool ship. Its name is just stupid. The cargo variant is my favorite. The Naboo ships are just too flashy and memorable that it’s hard to keep a low profile. But I get that’s the theme of a yacht. Why be high status when everyone looking your way isn’t aware of your high status?
I have two. One only available to Nabooians that are related to the family that runs the Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps. They built a replica of the Royal Naboo starship for Nabooian youngling they "requested" from the Jedi Council before the Clone Wars and also hid via cryogenic suspension from the Empire. To make up for doing all of that against his will, once they woke him after the death of the Emperor. they gave him a starship that had a dorsal twin laser turret. Missile launcher port and starboard of the nose. A twin hanger bay on the ventral side of the nose that housed 2 updated U-wings. All of that in a package that from a distance looks very similar to the Royal Naboo starship. This neo baby name the starship "The Republican" because the faction that he belonged to are anti monarchist. The other one is an updated version of the U-wing. The main body is longer then the original. Not as long as the S-foils when swept forward but close. The longer body is also wider to both side doors have proper airlocks. Also a 5 crew member will have a cabin in the back next to the power plant. I am of two minds. Should the updated U-wing stick with the 4 X-wing engines or switch to 2 A-wing engines. Also a dorsal twin laser turret would make a nice addition. The 5 cabins can make down independent of the rest of the starship. Also they can be collapsed and removed if the mission calls for more missiles, then people
I think that you're mischaracterizing the Fondor Haulcraft. I think that the haulcraft is a much more ship of commoners. Even if it can be modified to suit businessmen I don't think they'd want it. It would be like seeing a Nissan Versa trying pass itself off as a limousine The reason that Luthen uses the Fondor is to blend in and NOT arouse suspicion.
Can you do mercenery
Perhaps! I have a video about good ships for pirates that you might like in the meantime.
Actually, the we know the price of the D'lanseaux. It cost 1 decent storyline for each movie it appeared in
Even as a Last Jedi enjoyer, I can’t argue with that. This ship is the only good thing to come out of the Canto Bight sequence…
Can you pls make your logo real Aurabesh?
I think I have an Aurebesh version somewhere, but I wanted it to be readable to people who aren’t familiar with that alphabet!
Makes sense
