I come from a generation that you had to use your imagination to build whatever you wanted from Lego's. My son was the go to the store and buy whatever Lego set you wanted but not me.
I would love to see naboo build a spaceport building ships and shipping resources etc , mining the 3 moons for resources to build ships and technology etc, and use the plasma energy resources to fuel their economy and design more chromium like ships like this but bigger to have a fleet of it's oun and be a sustainable independent power
My favorite will always have to be Padme's ship that she flys to Mustafar in. Laser cannons, a 0.5 hyperdrive and the beautiful Nubian craftsmanship we have come to expect.
These are the kind of things that shows the Brilliance of George Lucas. I absolutely love watching the making of videos in these ones ever since I was a kid when I first saw making of Star Wars from 1977-78 that was the and 7980 around that time my dad bought a VCR spent almost $1,000 on it and it was a huge expense for that time. But it was one of those things that when he heard people at work talking about it and talking about how wonderful it was to get a movie from a video store and back then to rent that videos that movie wanted to watch it cost almost $10 to rent one movie and now if you were going to have a video store then it was going to cost you a lot of money to buy each of those movies pretty close to $1,000 a movie for some of them especially for the classics like Dr Zhivago or Gone with the Wind. And but what happened was at the at the store to rent them out they had the making of the that come out to show people that the magic behind the camera so to say and it was a great way to see that different scenes in Star Wars that it showed until Empire Strikes Back would come out to give us more Star Wars to give us more of a World building of those different galaxies that that were combined but yeah these things here when you when you watch those making of videos, you see the type of care that's given for characters I love the parts where he has the different artists coming together where he gives them a little bit of information as to what he wants a character to look like and then he's looking through all the designs he's changing things going okay I want this part from that guy mixed with that part from the other one there one of those things being Dexter at the coffee shop for the film Noir part of attack of the Clones the type of time and attention that he gave to those ones is immaculate and it's obviously hasn't been done in that same capacity with Disney being in charge of things. The main thing that I've seen the found while I was watching any of those movies was that I was looking at them thinking I bet the main thing that they said while making that was that's good enough which is like the absolute worst thing that could be said about something like a movie good enough means you don't care it means that those kind of things are stupid who cares if it doesn't make sense who cares if it's edited wrong who cares if it's not explained or not gone into because people say well it was too boring George Lucas's movies are too boring cuz they're so poorly written really they're poorly written but the Disney Star Wars isn't poorly written. No it is. It's garbage but these things here these ships that they had they were brilliant. And Lucas knew his stuff
What would you design if you were the head designer for Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps? My first design would be a call back to the Royal Naboo Starship. Not for a member of the Naboo royalty or member of the government. This one would be for a member of a family clan that owns large shares of the Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps. From a distance it would look like the Royal Naboo Starship. It would be clad in platinum and called The Republican. This family clan are secretly anti-monarchist. It would be bigger and wider in all dimensions. A dorsal retractable twin laser turret. A revolver style assault concussion missile launcher. The missiles would be scaled down to fit and enough reloads for two sets of launches. This weapon is located on the port and starboard of the nose of the starship. Behind the storage bay for the assault concussion missiles will be two hanger bays housing updated U-wings. I wonder what Mandalorian era fighters the Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps would design?
That things sounds crazy! It must be fairly large too, considering the hangar bay with updated U-wings. I like the weaponry attached to it as well. I can tell you put some thought into the design and the lore behind it! Personally, I love a good gunship. Something that is similar in design to the N-1 but scaled up to hold Naboo security forces or special weapons. I would keep the color pattern uniform with the N-1 starfighter. The overall design would be sleek and lean for a gunship, rather than bulky. A variety of interchangeable missile pods along the wings or supporting wings could be nice. And of course forward twin laser cannons and side door weapons turrets. If there was a cross between Naboo and Mandalore, I imagine the starfighter would look like a N-1 and a fang fighter mashed together. Could be cool! Thanks for the comment
It's crininal that none of these royal cruisers got an official lego model, they're so cool and I'd love to build one
A crime against the galaxy

Padme's Naboo ship from Revenge of the Sith was armed. I liked that one the best.
I was so upset when I realized I forgot that one lol
i think the H type might just be the perfect ship for travelling the galaxy lol
That’s probably true! Or maybe a YT freighter 😎

Naboo could be a strong military power in the Star Wars universe but they value nature and art, which I think is admirable.
Padmes mission modified gunship would be a cool new addition if made with a 2 fighter small hanger like on the g9rigger Twilight
That would be awesome!
You forgot one Naboo royal ship from SW ep.3: Sith revenge.
J-type Naboo royal star skiff.😊
I know, I realized afterwards.. it was too late lol
I love how the N-1 starfighters are like a reverse of the J-1 yacht.
That makes me wonder what Palpatines yacht looked like. I'm sure it was a sight to behold.
That’s true! I’m sure it had that Naboo class to it
That was great! I am currently chroming the Hasbro Royal Starship.
That’s awesome! I bet it’ll look dope

I can’t believe I forgot about it! I need to correct this mistake
I think that any one of those three ships would make great RC models since they are so streamlined.
Fantastic idea! I would like one of each lol

I like the silver one))
Ah yes the silver one! Excellent choice haha

I know! Super upset when I realized
The cruiser is my favourite
An excellent choice good sir!

It is a classic!
