A reliable class 2.0 hyperdrive and a fairly compact design. The only problem is that the Empire banned them due to how they were armed, and any that they pulled over had to be proven to be purchased legally and not in league with the rebellion. Why do shuttles need such big wings? I doubt they're for in atmosphere lift or even maneuverability as they're static wings. The lambda class shuttle doesn't even have solar arrays on its wings.
Sailors have been doing this since the first ship was built. You didn't travel around to different planets of course but you did travel and in my time in the Navy and Merchant Marines I traveled around the world for about 35 years and yes, those ships was my home away from home.

freighter ships in general, regardless of the sci-fi universe, are my go-to; generally lots of space to mount weps or transport goods to sell; especially in No Man's Sky
The Freighters are my favorite. Mainly because with one you can earn an honest living, or you can be a Smuggler. Or both! I am surprised slave one wasn't on this list.... It was not only Jango Fett's home, but later Boba Fett kept rebuilding and upgrading and rebuilding and upgrading...
I realized this was only Star Wars Ships after I started watching the video, but after all the greatest Space Ship home was Serenity. But then again, Star War Rebels was basically Firefly done in the Star Wars Universe.
The Corellian HT-2200 Medium Freighter would make a good home. It has four separate large cargo areas. One of them could be converted into better crew quarters.
Tough choice. I played a number of Star Wars based MUDs back in the day. My two favorite ships that my character owned I think were the CR90 Corellian Corvette and a YT-2000 similar to Dash Rendar's Outrider. Both had work spaces, cozy quarters, storage and great armament...Especially on the CR90.
for me i love the Star wars the old republics Smuggler's Corellian XS Stock light freighter, its great as a small crew ship while still being capable for many more things with a nice sized cargo hold and a nice set of guns on the ship, and easy access to the engines for swift repairs, over all lovely little Freighter class ship with anything that i would want.
These are all great. Any chance you can do an non-Star Wars list? Ships like the Eureka Maru from 'Andromeda', the Eagle One from 'Spaceballs', or the ultimate... SERENITY from 'Firefly' (which would fit 'aesthetically' in most sci-fi content from Star Wars, to Halo, to Battlestar Galactica). I'd love to see some of the ships from other sources Y'all could come up with.
I know you’ve covered these ships in a later video, but ranked from worst to best, the Incom X-4, the Sienar Fleet Systems YE-4, & the Black Sun AEG-77 Vigo would make excellent homes, when crewed with _Dragon Maid_ s…
I would go with a modified Sentinal-class Imperial landing craft, from Legends. It had tons of room, was armed, and even had an onboard speeder bike garage.
Errant Venture, full stop. Part of a star destroyer is your luxury home, the rest of it is a themed resort cruise ship (with enough fire power to take on anything lighter than a heavy cruiser). And your painted in all red lol.
A Star Destroyer or Super Star Destroyer would be the best ship that is a home. I’d imagine that a SD would have at least 8 DV cabins in the 1500 sqft range and all of the amenities of a major city. A SSD is a major city!
The Emperial starships in SWTOR looked pretty comfortable, I liked the one you get with the Imperial Sniper, was my main character so I'm a bit biased about that. Don't know much about the Jedi..
How many fans of the Galaxy Far Far Away haven't dreamed of traveling the galaxy on their own personal starship. I generally like the YT series, but can't stand the idea of flying from an off center cockpit, so I'd be inclined to get a YT-1930. It has a center cockpit, more cargo space and nice living quarters and looks lovely. If that weren't in the cards, a YT-1300 with a center cockpit, or a modified Lambda Shuttle would also be nice.
I think one other ship worth mentioning is the stinger Mantis from Jedi fallen order. To me that ship always felt like home with the all of greese's plants making the place feel more alive the bogling hiding in the vents and under the holo table making the place more cosy and because of the amount of time I traveled around in the ship it always felt like home to me.
Living on a starship in the Star wars universe is my dream. The only problem is I can't pick which one.
Easy. That one planet that was alive and had a hyper drive (I think it is legends only)

To live in a Star Ship floating through space away from humans lol. We can dream.
OVERLANDING IS THE WAY
Love the intel, big Star Wars fan
Lol the deathwatch is now the deathstar 🤣

Great list! I also really enjoy the way to make social commentary. Interesting and insightful, without being overbearing.
Mauls ship...
"Mini Star Destroyer"
Love how Ebon Hawk was included.
Star Wars is a great ad for Van Life.
Don't forget the Arcadia from Captain Harlock, the Great Fox from Star Fox 64 and onwards and the Yamato from Space Battleship Yamato
Useless factoid: The Millennium Falcon was not fitted with a galley until Leia insisted on it before marrying Han Solo
I know you’ve covered these ships in a later video, but ranked from worst to best, the Incom X-4, the Sienar Fleet Systems YE-4, & the Black Sun AEG-77 Vigo would make excellent homes, when crewed with _Dragon Maid_ s…
What about the Aay'han?? Elegant Mon Cal design with underwater mood lighting & filled with Mandos & Null Class Clone badasses!
I would go with a modified Sentinal-class Imperial landing craft, from Legends. It had tons of room, was armed, and even had an onboard speeder bike garage.
The YT-2400 would be mine. Love that ship
Errant Venture, full stop. Part of a star destroyer is your luxury home, the rest of it is a themed resort cruise ship (with enough fire power to take on anything lighter than a heavy cruiser). And your painted in all red lol.
8:29 yea a branch of the deathstar
Agreed on the Ebon Hawk, it's my favorite player home in any game I've played.
Even though this isn't star wars. The Serenity from Firefly. That's my favorite ship
If I were hard up financially, a Razor Crest (I'm guessing that is a model of ship, not the ship's name) would be quite satisfactory.
I would live in that spice freighter both Anakin and Ahsoka used throughout the Clone Wars.
The Twilight?
@@KaiserZERO Yep. Imagine the Bad Batch flying a heavily modified version of the same model
Darth Maul's starship is another good candidate for mobile home. Forgot it's name though.
That adorable scene makes me want to watch rebels
