This may have been the best episode ever. That team of guys from Houston and their interaction with George, and the ensuing fallout with the marathon guy... Just priceless writing!
@molohktegg2462 It can work both ways. My cousin is a pretty big introvert but a great golf player. Ended up working with an oil company out of Calgary playing golf with gorillionaire clients and acting 'chummy' no more than George here and made bank. Find a niche and put the introversion aside for 2 hours (about max for introverts lol) and it can pay off.
I use two strategies to look busy: I look annoyed and I walk fast whenever I go anywhere in office. 😂 I have been using these even before I knew about Seinfeld. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this episode for the first time, a few years ago.
I add one thing to the looking annoyed part. Every now and then, start questions but don't finish them. "How do they..." *shakes head* "What can I..." *throw up hands* "Who would even..." *sigh and face palm*
I think Mr.Wilhelm is understanding of George because he himself suffered mental health issues. You remember one episode wilhelm walks into Steinbrenners office and he says “what’s the matter wilhelm, you popping pills? You got the crazies again?”
I always have a non blinking smile whenever anyone stops by my office, I don't say anything but just keep grinning. My boss never bothers me and Co workers are very brief. Good system.
and this is where the whole show loses touch with reality. Whoever saw a 'boss' who said, "You need to relax more" ? I never did, and I do not know anyone who did. Maybe it is that way in real TV land?
That annoyed advice George gives is actually helpfull. Always look like your very busy, if not your boss is just going to turn more work your way
Never fails me
Always carry a "prop" also. If you have a tool or something in your hands, you will look busy.
Carrying a clipboard gives the illusion that you’re busy. And no one will question it.
@@jakeporter8476always a good idea to carry a clip board it makes it look more important
@@RW-ce8kphaha I just commented this without even reading your comment haha but hey it's true

Came to say the same thing. This was one of the better, but more nuanced interwoven plots
I forgot what the B-story was to the Hot Tub Kenyan main story. Dont remember this one.
Or maybe just be busy I guess. Lazy people suck.
The Trinidadian runner did not have the correct accent
@@YNGDYE he's Trinidadian and Tabgon.
Who?
You know that runner, Jean Paul Jean Paul!
“Threatening to move the team to New Jersey just to upset people” LMAO this show is the best!!
If he was still alive, I wouldn't of put it past Steinbrenner if he actually did move the team to New Jersey. 😂😂
The fun assignment is an introvert’s worst nightmare.

@molohktegg2462 hey
So that’s what George is. That actually explains a lot about him besides his parents.
Im a misanthropic extrovert.
I'm an introvert, but that group seems fun.
The irony is that this is one of the few times George actually succeeded at something, but he still loses.
I use two strategies to look busy: I look annoyed and I walk fast whenever I go anywhere in office. 😂

Wear some papers in your hands also helps to look busy 😅
Can we appreciate that George Boss actually was worried about George being overworked.
More that he was cracking under the pressure. You know Mr. Wilhelm is very understanding about mental health
Mr. Wilhelm did look rather concerned. He probably thought George was beginning to lose it.
Mr Wilhelm is a great boss
I think Mr.Wilhelm is understanding of George because he himself suffered mental health issues. You remember one episode wilhelm walks into Steinbrenners office and he says “what’s the matter wilhelm, you popping pills? You got the crazies again?”
George's philosophy is simple yet deep
This son of a B ezz ice cold 😂
This was George at his most useful at the Yankees.
George has the best job with the New York Yankees ⚾️🧢🌮🌃
We've been talking to a real friendly son of a B in the front office 😆
“threatening to move the team to New Jersey just to upset people”
Hmmm... well the Newark Yankees has kind of a familiar ring to it
😂
George looks like a good actor, he should be in a show about nothing.
He can act without acting.
1:00 woah 1:22
@@bink it's a real thing, I read a book about it. Kind of short though.
"Threatening to move the team to New Jersey just to upset people". Lololol.
Jean Paul would've been such a good recurring character. Wish he'd been in more than one episode.
I totally agree!!!!!
He got in trouble for harassing women in the production. Couldnt bring him back after that.
2:38
Jerry : hey how was the meeting?
George: you know I really like those sons of b!tches.
Jean-Paul’s slightly bewildered but amused face.
😂😂😂😂
3:58 is my favorite line in the whole show
Same
I think there’s parts of this clip that are relatable to anyone who’s ever worked in an office
"Threatening to move the team to New Jersey just to upset people." MetLife stadium anyone?
I always have a non blinking smile whenever anyone stops by my office, I don't say anything but just keep grinning. My boss never bothers me and Co workers are very brief.
Good system.
George: hey you bastards at 2:36 LOL
I love that Jean-Paul INSTANTLY started cursing like George.😂
Okay imagine if George had just had some Kung Pao in this episode. Screaming you sunnava bitches while beet red and sweating would have been great.
George likes his chicken spicy. 🥵
Yes!!!😂😂😂😂
he enjoys understanding.
1:19 King Charles with the pen episode 😮
LOL😂
When i look annoyed at work we get a 1 star review
Interleague play, when it was all talk. And Houston was a National League team, who didn't have a designated hitter.
George knows what he is doing.
This is one of my favorite episodes haha cause ya know it's true
One of my favourite Seinfeld bits. I keep reminding myself of this every time I get stressed out at work 😂
Dam I miss these episodes
The Guys from Huston remind me of the "Bill Brasky" guys from SNL.
2 words George...HOT Tub
😂
This is genius!
Annoyed face really works. The problem is it grows on you and one day you are not acting.
I love this scene!
@jjbb8650 what did you contribute
How was the meeting?
There was no meeting.
But it was quite a meeting.
4:08 woah
1:48 all Men should be talking like that.
George calls him Mr. Steinburger 4:32 lol
lol i mised that
0:12 politicians use that trick too
I wonder how those businessmen can hold in their liquor without being impaired on the job.
Most business is done in the bar not in the boardroom. They've built up a heavy tolerance over time.
They work for a baseball team in Houston. They’d probably get fired if they weren’t smashed by 11am.
Well I got a lot to do lol
I always thought Jean Paul could’ve been a regular character he had a good dynamic with everyone
Sooo funny. 😂😂😂
Ah yes, back when we used to have regional dialects. Now everyone is a clone.
I used to keep a small sprayer of water close by….. nothing beats the look of stress than a sheen of perspiration on the face…..🤫mums the word !
THE CODE! THE CODE!
move the team to New Jersey hahahaha
Teneal!
FINISH YER DRINK
Hey You Bastards!
Isn’t that Sheriff Brackett from Halloween I and II? The nurse from Death Wish II?
Love this man miss it
I wondered how those reps from Houston Astros kept their jobs, with all the drinking they were doing?
if that's really how they talk in the major leagues, you'd think mr. willhelm would know that but whatever
Mister Wilhelm is a real friendly sonovabitch
Didn't Mr. Willhelm end up joining a cult of cleaning people?
You a big drinker, George?!
George's Boss did so much better than Mr Burns, who resorted to "fun hats" and Tom Jones music hahhaa
hot tub
Hot tub.
4:08
I wanna be these guys.
Elaine's hair different at :10/. Then at :25
Hahaha
Imma Texan and that's how northerners think we talk... that's funny...well actually, some do carry on like that

How could the hot tub water get down to 58°? Did Kramer keep his apartment thermostat that low?
He left his windows open
I never thought of that.

I think that's also why "manic" is not a diagnosis, but "manic-depressive" is. The bosses want people with manic energy to put it to the job.
:01/ :10
That's has to be the most horrible attempt on a Trinidadian accent.... Where my trin ppl at?
‘ucking hilarious!
So funny!!!
LMAO!!!
