unbelivebal the sound of this wounderful german romantic organ is so fantastic! and the french masterpiece from leon boellmann (composer) works so fine on this organ. the nice and slow way of presenting this suite is so fine, outstanding and marvellous! really great interpretation of this fantastic organ work. thank you for presenting this video!

So wonderful organ, you could understand their powerful capabilities, the introducción sounds so wider, I fill like the lions roar while the angels cry at the beginning of new hope.

Thank you SO MUCH for providing this in HD! It is awfully hard to find classical masterpieces like this online that don't sound like total garbage. So, thank you!

Very original, innovative interpretation of the piece. Priere seems to be too slow, but in fact it isn't. It reveals us meditative dimension of this movement, more meditative, than other performers could imagine. It sounds almost like Messiaen.

Simpelweg; heel mooi ! De negatieve kritiek slaat nergens op hoor. Bedankt Fabian.

Priere a Notre Dame too slow, I'm sorry, this seems like a neverending story. Playing the organ is like singing all the notes that Boëlmann had in mind when he wrote this Suite Gotique. Imagine a random text e.g. Kyrie Eleison on this notes, I should have lungs like a wale to perform this! I appreciate any performance from any organist in this piece, but this could be "piu mosso"!

Sandy Wijnands I agree with you..I love this piece of music so very much but I found the inro way too slow. The minuet was spot on for tempo, but as you say, the Priere was far too slow and as I have often heard, the toccata was a tad too fast. I'm not Disrespecting the organist in any way, it's just my personal opinion.

Boellmann has written "Tres lent" for this piece. So why shouldnt he play it slow? I like this dreamy interpretation very much! Imagine it like a communion....

Dry halls (without much reverberation) can allow performers to take their tempos much faster than wet halls without the sound getting muddied.

Meh... Any much faster and it would all start to run together. You have to take into account the acoustics of the hall.
