I would personally recommend using a knife to cut out the small parts slowly as you eat. All the pieces taste great, and finally, an honest RUclipsr!

The scoring obviously helps. But really, really putting the pressure on when you're rolling it also helps. The more you can work and flex those skin creases while rolling it, the easier they break. To the point you can sometimes pull a couple by hand. But its a lot of force and a lot of time usually.

Can be planted immediately (day 1) in soil without the extra water step.

Alternatively, u could just stick it in the ground or a pot and have at it. Best to leave some of the shoulder attached.

We like to the top and plant it. If you live in warm area you can grow your own. Other wise you need could try hot house. Not sure about that one.
