Eduardo, you're wrong about having aperture priority on LC-A. LC-A (soviet ones at least) use these aperture values for flash photography, and the shutter is fixed at 1/60.
wer2young2die dang. You are absolutely RIGHT! I only tried it with flash, sync at 1/60. I'll pin this comment to ammend my mistake. Thank you so much!
@@edpavez So if one does not mount a flash and act on the 'f' lever is the same at 1/60??
Or it read tgat has not a flash on?
And if so what it does?
Or, if I' m ok with 1/60, since is a 32mm. lense, I can use the apertures even without a flash on????
Thank you.
I’ve never tried it, really. Why use the camera with a fixed 1/60 speed? You would only have one correct aperture to operate in, since the ASA is fixed by the film. It is worse than using it on auto.
@@edpavez perhaps like this you could choose to over or underexpose depending on your box speed ?
@@blackcrane1084 you can do that by changing the ASA speed selector.
i love how you can casually photograph strangers like that--my awkward penguin side will wet my pants out! i'm already panicking every time the subject looks back at you and like "what the hell did he just photographed is it me IS IT ME"
love the couple with colored hair shot!
That photo of the young couple is for the ages
4:05 walking by that sleeping guy... 4:07 oh wait a minute... 4:08 pretending to look at the hedge, 4:09 walking back slowly and 4:09 setting the focus ...click... 4:12 take a picture of the guy... awesome :D I love that very subtle swirl effect on that picture :D
Ok but that picture of the couple could make me cry, it's so beautiful.
Saludos!
always a pleasure to see your videos and of course, your photos!
Oh, man, I think the photos from this video are your best !
I like them a lot. Thanks for sharing them 😀
you had by far of all your videos, some of the best shots taken off the street. well done.
Another great video from you ed! You never disappoint :) you captured some awesome moments in your unique style, also music from your friend is great as always! Keep it up and I hope you're theater plays are going great too
Really like the photo of the couple (man and woman with colored hair). That's a great LC-A photo.
More than the images, I'm in admiration for your courage to stand in front of strangers when taking their picture especially at 05:05 ! I wish I had balls like yours ;)
yees the man looks like a angry person
totally! I want this courage!
Great job on these images. They all looked great!
Man, you're a street photography ninja!
I really wish the Lomo's lever-focus was implemented in modern cameras. It's lightning fast, and it lets clumsy people like me focus pre-emptively like an old school pro with a Leica.
The only option to get it now is with the M-mount version of this camera's lens, or the Voigtlander 25mm.
WOW! Great shots, sir!
I must have watched this episode at least 6 times !
Awesome vid! Thanks much for sharing once again.
Hi Eduardo, I own this camera too and the results are always surprising from this camera. I like your photos from LC-A, I think they are the best of you shooted with vintage cameras. Nice work :)
Very nice pictures! great job!
I really admire you can take photo to the person so easy, good picture, I think!
Awesome pics, seems I wanna buy again LC-A cam
The head nod on 5.05 min was so clever😉 Great move my friend.
I agree with all you say, and above it, it´s a stealth camera, you can make fast snapshot without anyone seeing it.
Not the best at being unnoticed by your subjects but I do love the passion!
I feel your soul in your photos
I like this camera, and the LC-A has another 120 formate also very good
I think you would love the XA2! I know you didn't enjoy the XA and neither did I, but the XA2 works like an lc-a but in that durable XA body and beautiful Zuiko lens! :)
Thanks man just purchased this camera for $50 (missing the grip tape) but I’m going to custom it with wood grain vinyl. But good to see a street photography video. I’m glad I bought this camera!
ME ENCANTA COMO TOMAS LAS FOTOS! XDDDDD , la tomas , la gente queda "WTF????" y tu solo sonries! xDDD
Eduardo, can you make a video shooting B&W film with the Lomo LC-A?
Great shots / results! I just ordered a 120 version.
I’ve heard the 120 is AWESOME! Let me know if you like it.
Awesome shots, I'm a huge fan of this kind of zone focusing and am definitely considering buying a Lomo, XA2, or XA3 at some point. Which of those three would you say you like best?
that lady sleeping on the bench.... great shot!!!
Super!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Vielen Dank für das Video 😊
Estan preciosas✨
Wow. Love the colors and sharpness even looks pretty good. This is one of my favorite episodes yet, Pablo. You work so elegantly!
The couple and the man reading the newspaper were my favourites 😂
Wow, there's about 3 or 4 shots here that I really like (which is more than I got from maybe my last 10 rolls). Very impressive hit rate. Btw, were any of the folks you walked towards to became even just a bit hostile? I thought the guy selling ice cream, the old man in glasses, and the one reading the newspaper noticed you and were more than a little surprised.
Eduardo great video !!!! So I wanted to buy this camera and I found it on eBay one for 50 dollars in good condition but untested, what do you recommend I should do ? Because there is another one that is over 140 dollars of course is in good working condition
I wasn't expecting so good pics with a lomo camera. Good job Eduardo!
I used to be really into Lomography and always wanted to get an LC-A, but I never got one.
Hi mate. Do you have an advice for a flash for the lomo lca? Thx
Your shots are good.
Hi Edoardo! in your opinion what camera is better between this lomo LC-A and the Rollei 35s?
Color me impressed!
Cuándo vienes a Guadalajara?
Hey Eduardo, could you review the Minolta Hi-Matic 9 rangefinder? I've been interested in this camera and would love some help from someone experienced like you. Gracias!
Nice Video! Did you shoot with the original ASA or did you switch to 100 to achieve a different look?
Your local poundland still has agfa!?
I read they discontinued restocking is in 2015??
Eduardo ! I think you're a good photographer. I love your works. And i hope you will make a some book about street photography. Ignore my english Eduardo.
You should really try Olympus mju2 (stylus2) out, or at least mju1. I had mju2 back in the day but it was stolen. However, my wife still has mju1 and that camera still takes great pictures...
con que scaneas ? buen canal 👌
Love the results. Thanks for the video!
la raja los resultados compa!
I really want know this BGM
Hey try to shoot with holga 120 and Holga 135 :)
I love Lomo and Lubitel
Again a really nice video Eduardo! I have an old Russian version of this camera and it has sometimes incredible light leeks that makes the photos sometimes really unexpectedly awesome. Looking forward for your new episode :-)
Really nice video! I followed you for a while and you inspired me starting my channel and try to emulate your great style in my videos 1 roll to use around! I have a question for you: do you talk with people about who you take the photos? Some of the moments you catch are really "perfect time/perfect place" but I saw you stop someone too.
I barely ever talk to the people I shoot. in this video, I only talked to the couple and I said "hi" to the kids playing with water. :)
Thank you very much for your answer!
I will keep it in mind for when i took photos too ^^
thank you again and really really great videos always!
thanks dude. I'm glad you enjoy them. :D
what kind of film do you need for limo lca
35mm
Man, I miss Mexico City. A beautiful place with rich culture
4:00 is amazing photo...
Saludos!
I've always wanted to see what the camera could do without the lomography effects.
La foto de la pareja 3:53 está buenísima!
The LC-A is a fun camera but it is prone to bricking
Too bad the lens isnt better quality..
The guy at 5:08 his bag says lca on it lol!
Muchos saludos, Eduardo. :)
3:52 damn, that is one hot couple.
Well, I didn't expect those kinds of results at all!
Eduardo, as always another great video!!! I love your style. I'm always looking forward for the next shoot film episode.
Question: I know you've done 35mm and medium format episodes... well I was wondering if you ever considered doing a instant film episode? Specifically FP100c pack film .That way you could still shot and get away with your discreet street style, without having a picture automatically come out while trying to make a get away. I'd love to see what you would come up with!!!! Polaroid Land camera, or a Polaroid back perhaps on a medium setup????
Regardless, love the channel! With lots admiration, a fan all the way in NYC
Carlos :)
PS: if you ever find yourself in NYC, let me know, I got a couple of 35mm that you can take for a spin around town!!!!
A travel to the past!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂La cara del señor!!! (0:10 - 0:17)
So you are fluent in Spanish too.
LCA 5:11 They didnt even know
Lol They did! I thought he would stand up and kill him xD
$229 on BH. That's a lot of money for not much camera.
At 8:15 I say that they are expensive if you buy them new, but you can get them second hand.
04:01 So cute)
i like this image @04:01 very much
Great camera. I have one in my collection. I made a video about her and showed examples of the photos I got there, there are also multiple exposure ones. Who cares, go to my channel.
Oh fuck man. I'll never be as brave as you are.
1:44 👌🏿✨
Great. I think, Mexico is a great place for streetphotography
If you tried to shoot this way in Germany, I promise, you would be arrested within minutes.
, what a bell is that music? the drum's drove me crazy!
