- Why has MySims been forgotten. I hope you guys enjoyed my retrospective of MySims. It truly baffles me that this game is not talked about more. My Sims (2007) came out on the Nintendo Wii and DS, and in 2008 it was released on PC. It was a spin off of the widely popular Sims series.
This is a re-release of the video I put out a few months ago. I improved the mic quality as much as I could and did some other improvements. Hope you guys enjoy.

I remember playing some of the spin off in the DS and WII and I absolutely love this games
MySims Agents 2 being cancelled still haunts me to this day.
My Sims was actually underrated, at least for an early Wii title
and now, in 2024
we are finally gonna be able to replay it on the Switch
I used to play this on my Wii back when I was a kid, I have the combo pack disk that comes with My Sims and My Sims Racing
You should talk about the DS versions too. They're different games.

Before I found this video, I texted a girl “You know what game I loved on the Wii?” And then she replied “hmmmmm MySims?” And I screamed because she was correct.
If EA rerelease the Star Wars game they own on Xbox Series X and Switch and that Dr. Wright guy from SNES port of SImCity why not rerelease the MySims series for Switch PS5 PS4 Xbox One and Xbox Series S?
In a world with Animal Crossing, something like this never even hit my radar.
I felt extremely nostalgic when seeing this video at first. But then I realized that what you play is a little different from what I remember. I played it for DS, and what you play probably was for Wii or PC. The perspective is a little different, and I don't remember any of those NPCs. Perhaps I didn't play the game correctly either, but I can't remember anything to build, at all. I remember playing racquet ball, buying nice furniture plushies for my home and going into a larger city where I met a millionaire sim that I tried to befriend.
Edit: Oh, the mouse icon is a good indicator that you play the PC version :y

mysims racing was so fun when i was a kid on my ds... i go to play it on emulator and I don't remember the ai being so hard since i unlocked all the tracks as a kid
I've always had a passion for the MySims games, especially Kingdom and Agents and it is disappointing how EA abandoned the series after releasing SkyHeroes. I'm still hoping that EA makes a comeback to the series one day, and maybe remaster all 6 games for the switch and/or it's successor as a way of introducing the next generation of gamers to a game series once abandoned, as well as filling up the older fans with nostalgia and reinstate the love that they used to have for MySims. Maybe that might also give EA the inspiration to finish creating those games that were scrapped during production such as Agents 2, the sports game etc.

they should remaster the entire series for the switch... oh wait i forgot... EA DGAF about its playerbase
They did
essence sure is a much more interesting and engaging way to add progression to the game than the way the main series does it, i mean, in modern the sims games it feels more like you have to choose between building or developing relationships, and the two usually don't mix together well...

My Sims was a great Game. I remember that i played it back when it came out. Sad that there was no real Sequell and its unlikely that a real Sequell will come ever out. Also seems there is no ort for any Console of my Sims out beside the Original Wii version.
Holy shit i loved this game as a kid, idk why but it really appealed to me and I liked all of the sims and the atmosphere was weirdly, sad and melancholic? Nowadays i remember it more for the PeanutButterGamer video about it but this really made me remember memories i didnt know i had, good video man
