I'm not entirely sure because i don't know if the bedrock edition have hitboxes like on java, because thats the resason it works on java with the trapdoors in the ceiling, the creepers are just a tiny amount smaler than 2 blocks on java might be entirely different on becrock.

Yes thats why we use the trapdoors combined with carpets to prevent other hostile mobs from spawning + spiders (thats the carpet part)

Yes, it will but, it's super slow in bedrock instead, there are more better creeper farms for bedrock. You can search it on RUclips 🎉
And there is one more thing if you are building this farm in bedrock edition make sure to use solid blocks instead of slabs above the trapdoors
