@@gabemichael3524build It on a island or in the middle of a ocean for better rates and if on island place torches all above the ground and there should me no light source inside the farm and if it's still not working then u need to build a nether portal one it is insanly fast

The afk point must be within 128 blocks of the "floor" of the lowest farm level in any case. So yes, less scaffolding. I didn't keep a close eye, but I guess that means 6 fewer scaffolds for each additional level of the farm. In short: afk is always the same height above the "floor" of the lowest level of the farm. The "floor" of the top level of the farm must not be less than 24 blocks from the afk because creepers will not spawn at these levels. So you can only build enough levels to fit between 128 and 24 from afk. It means like 17 levels. Will be enough for you? ;)

I recommend the second farm, Why you might ask? because you can build many more around it but it depends on your situation like building a netherite beacon. the third farm is reccomended. but if its only for fireworks the 3 one is ideal. but if you want a huge amount of gpowder then the 3rd one will do you good

A stacking raid farm can produce thousands of gunpowder an hour too. If I was after gunpowder I’d invest in building one of these rather then messing about with cats.

Could be that you built it too close to a mountain like me. if it's too close to a mountain then mobs can spawn outside of the farm. Also, if you build more layers to it then make sure your AFK spot isnt too high up. if it's too high the mobs could despawn before getting burnt by the campfire
Vats don't seem to make creepers run away on PS4. I made a huge farm that required 96 cats. Didn't realize it didn't work until I was already done with it 😭
@@dunerman2533 They do, you just have to do it differently. The cat creeper farms don't work on bedrock edition because you can't prevent the spiders from spawning.
Sodium lets you toggle every Particle Effect. Pause > Video Settings > Particles > Block Breaking / Block Broken. OptiFine *might* have a toggle for breaking blocks particles, but I don't see any in OptiFine for MC v1.16. Pause > Video Settings > Animations...

Did he remove all the rotten flesh and bones etc from the chest to just show the gun powder? I get the creepers flee from the cats ans fall down into the water, but after an hour there would definitely be zombies and skeletons spawning as well.
And there should not be any zombies or skeletons. They are two blocks tall and do not fit under the trap doors whereas creepers are shorter and do fit as do spiders which is why you place the carpet.
@@tiskor7968 It might, but as it wasn't designed with bedrock in mind, it would probably be pretty slow. If you're looking for a good gunpowder farm on bedrock, I'd recommend ghast farms

For me the 10 minute creeper is the most useful thing for starting a survival world. Then work up to the advance ones.

There are multiple good easy gunpowder farms for bedrock (ps4 edition) just search bedrock gunpowder farm and you will find plenty easy designs

you have to go up to move your despawn sphere out from the ground so no mobs spawn in the caves below
