Where do I purchase the "Brass water quick bridge valve"

My question is this; Where does the cold water go once it’s pushed backward and would that not put undue pressure on lines.
I can’t get my head around where the water getting pushed backward goes to with no return line to the heater…. 😅
    Thanks!!

The water just returns into the water, no pressure is forced beyond the flowing back into the tank. The pump is called a circulator because it circulates the water within the building pipes. The whole house piping both hot and cold come from the same pressure and source. The cross over bridge pulls water from the hot water tank and returns it to the cold pipe that supplies the same tank., Picture a pretzel.

Are cross connection like this allowed by code ?

Each local jurisdiction has its own requirements. There are cities that mandate a recirculation system. A recirculation system with a return line is essentially equal to the bridge valve at the fixture. The only difference being the location of the crossover. The products are listed by the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC). If you have any doubts, you can call a local plumber who will know the local codes. I'm not aware of anywhere that does not allow this water saving device.

All codes are different, all cities states and AHJ's are different. I know of no area where circulation pumps are not allowed. I only know of AHJ"s that require re-circulation systems.

Can you use multiple bridges? We have a bridge on the 4th level but that only brings up hot water to the 4th floor. If I “bring up” hot water to the 3rd floor, I also get hot water on the 2nd floor very quickly. Would installing another bridge on the 3rd floor be ideal?
