They should switch roles one time where Stevie and Chase are guessing and tossing, Rhett takes Stevie's "hostess" position and Link takes Chase's cartographer position. Mainly so Chase can get payback for the incident.

As a Sri Lankan, I got SOOOOOOOO excited when I saw them eat the egg hoppers!! They're one of my favorite foods and I love seeing people learn about Sri Lanka!! If anyone thinks they want to try them I'd HIGHLY recommend that you do, they're great! They're also made without the egg in the middle and the batter kind of builds up in the middle and I like to eat that part with some honey.
So happy to see Sri Lanka on this map 😊

As a 32 year old Brit, I can tell you now that I have NEVER in my life heard of that anchovy and egg monstrosity. Admittedly, we have some questionable meal choices over here, but that is not one of them 🤣

Scotch Woodcock is just one of those things that's like Jellied Eels or Kedgeree...it's just Victorian. Typically you spread Gentleman's relish on the toast (seen it in Waitrose) and it is delicious!
I was expecting a scotch egg for the UK.
As a Norwegian, lemme just say that is not a (current) thing. Apparently it was a way of reducing bitterness in coffee (especially c. of lesser quality), and for some reason Scandinavian immigrants in the US held on to it while we just moved on to better coffee?

lol it's frustrating when people think something are from some place in the world but it's just the immigrants in the US who do that, like the spaghetti and meatballs. Nobody in Italy puts meatballs in spaghetti, that's a purely Italian immigrants thing that they must have started doing as soon as they arrived, but the entire world thinks people down in Italy eat meatballs all the time lol

As a Norwegian that has been around my country a couple of times, I can honestly say I have never seen that type of coffee ever. I am not going to say it doesnt exist, but it is far from normal - so bizarre.
(And I grew up in a Lutheran community, just for refrence).
It was "common" in the Northern" part of Norway back in the days. I think it came from Finland originally.
I have never seen or heard of it either (as a norwegian) This is not common in Norway these days at least. I hope one day GMM does something very common norwegian at least. Like lutefisk or smalahove

I’m British and have been for 30+ years, I have never eaten that in my life. You would have been better doing a Bacon, Sausage & Egg sandwich, a quintessential breakfast for every labourer in and around our small island.

As a lifelong resident of the United Kingdom who has had many many scrambled egg dishes I can categorically say I have never, ever heard of anyone putting anchovies on them. It might be historical but pretty sure it isn’t popular anymore…
Also egg hoppers are absolutely incredible but you need a curry or a spicy Sambal to put inside it.

So right! Game after game, obvious strategical opportunities present themselves and Link never even mentions them or even voices a strategy that directly contradicts reason. Rhett even often mentions good strategies to Link and Link ignores or dismisses them. It's actually a little frustrating.🤷♂️

I find the egg coffee interesting, because there's actually an enzyme in eggs that makes coffee taste bad. It's like adding toothpaste to your OJ

When I was first saw the United Kingdom as an option I was immediately sceptical - I haven't seen that many accurate videos on the UK on youtube!
It's clearly a dated dish from Stevie's description but I have to say I've never seen this dish anywhere!
It's a pity they didn't try Vietnamese egg coffee (cà phê trứng). It's made by beating an egg yolk with sweetened condensed milk for about 10 minutes until foamy, then having that over coffee. Delicious!

There’s an episode of I Love Lucy where Lucy is making coffee the way her ancestors did and she throws eggs, shells and all, into the pot, looks at Ricky and says “My Grandmother was Swedish.”
In my lifetime in the UK I have never seen or had scrambled eggs with anchovies. After Googling Scotch Woodcock, it looks like a very traditional dish, but something I may try this weekend! Thanks Rhett and Link, instead of bad mouthing your researchers, I'm going to commend them!
