The Campaign/Story is around 6 hours long - There is no difficulty setting in the Game. For the Boss fight Compilation here's the video link (It has timestamps and dont worry the labels are spoiler safe) ruclips.net/video/fOBVm9iSgLA/видео.html
Hmm an interesting game, might get it along the line. Shame that the voice direction in this game seems very, very lackluster. And especially since the VA for the MC is Robert Atkin Downes (He's typically a very good VA in other games and most notably Travis Touchdown from NMH). Seems like the gameplay is fun and I'll wait for a sale. Otherwise, great review my friend! Short and concise! :D
It’s got kind of a campfire mechanic from dark souls. If you die you go back to it, it’s a save spot. The enemies refresh. You lose a little “xp” but not all. But time passes which opens crystals you harvest for skills, weapon durability count, etc. so it’s got the death mechanic of a roguelike but not near as punishing by any means. As soon as you get good at the dodge mechanic. You’re golden.
DmC, except from the PS2 era, and the enemies sometimes stand around waiting for you to do flashy moves to end them. Short, quick review, do more stuff like this Bata.
Even small indy companies, they made the exact same mistakes as the others. Shitty cutscenes no end game and I'm pretty sure the bestiary sucks as well. I can deal with shitty ui, game without any depth in 2021 I can't.
Are the skill upgrades based on weapon type and not the weapon itself? It would be rather counter-initiative to have upgrades on weapons only to have them break. Good review.
Now THATS A REVIEW right there if i have ever seen one!Independent, honest and fair, as i would call it. I gotto admit though, from the get go i was to think about how to get it right away bc of your mhw videos i subconciously connect: your voice+any game=fun xD
I got this last nite because of the demo and it’s great . I agree with the story line and voice . That’s why I’m glad they have a skip button which gets you back into the nier automata action. I love that game too by the way. These games are nice and addicting always wanting more power ups and wanting more fight . It’s all there for you

Tips: use the Japanese voice instead of the English voice
Bruh your a legend for this. Was looking for a review before I cop
Is their ng+
What I couldn't find anywhere is...
"Does the game have a sort of 'bloody palace' mode?"
Was never fond of weapon destruction like BotW but I might give this one a try.
Cool, concise review! Maybe if the game goes on sale. Thanks for the review! 😁

Many sites are telling that this is a roguelike, is it really?
nope

Nice gg putting this out so early. Gonna grab a copy. I like supporting indie devs if game is half decent

I'd watch every review by Angbata. Let's actually make it a thing.
the important question, can you skip dialog and cutscenes?
yes.
Not so good with the Switch. Looks washed out. Gameplay's good though.
