anyone suggested the fisher space pen yet? its a small bullet/capsule - and when you post it it becomes a full size pen. also very practical for travelling bc it writes upside down, in cold weather, high temperatures, under water, in fire, in a vacuum, on dinosaur skin, it can find fairies, forsees the future and transforms into a scuba diving bottle. okay, i made that up ;-) it can't find fairies.
hahahahahhaha :) Aww...it can't find fairies? darn..that's a deal breaker for me then. I am aware of those pens and first heard (saw) them on Instagram ... I have put it down on my wishlist. Thanks for the suggestion!
I would recommend the Twsbi Mini FountainPen, perfect size. They can be found at Goulet Pens, Jetpens, or Amazon. If you go the fountain pen route get the Midori pen Clip in large (it's totally worth it).
I am a new fan! I love that you have band-aids included in what you keep handy! I have no suggestions for the smaller pen, but am really enjoying the concept of the Midori notebook!!
Thank you so very much :) You never know when you need a band-aid ;) It took awhile for me to start on the midori traveler's notebook (I actually purchased one for someone else as a gift) and then realized I should give it a try and have been loving it since :)
Oh my, I just ordered a traveler's star edition pp sized midori, too :) :) THe color looks so beautiful and the contrasting green elastic is so super beautiful :) I will use it as a scheduler as well - I will use a weekly and a monthly calendar in it. I am actually thinking about using my filofax as a stay at home binder and my PP midori as an on the go planner that is just color coded and not decorated as much (so I can take it into meetings etc) :) Thank you so much for all your awesome inspiration, mits!!!
I can't wait to see your set up of your weekly/monthly in your pp midori :) I keep my FF at home too and take the pp midori with me everywhere and I love it!! Hope you're enjoying your week so far Maria :)
I love your videos. I was wondering if you might be able to make a video of the official mtn store if you do go back. That would be exciting. Blessings to you and your family.
Thanks for watching and for commenting ;) I actually haven't physically visited the factory store, I was just able to place an order from them. My dream is to visit one day though :)
Awesome setup. I totally get why you can't use the limited edition notebook. I wouldn't be able to, either! The bandiads are a great idea specially when you are breaking in new shoes and using public transp. Lolll ;) speaking from experience here. Xoxo.
Thanks for the video Mits- I also keep band-aids in my MTN passport. Also I keep a couple of headache pills and a Victorinox Swiss army knife alox version in there too (it's the slim version, so not too bulky). In terms of pens have you tried the Zebra SL-F1 Mini Expandz ballpoint pen? They are good
Ahhh keeping some headache pills is a great idea! Thanks for sharing :) I haven't heard of that pen, but will definitely check it out, thanks for the recommendation:)
I found the cutese half pen at Office Depot before my local store closed. I wish I could post a photo of it for you, but the pen is no taller than my passport Midori and is easy to grip and hold. I hope you find one!
I absolutely love love love your setup!!!! Thank you for sharing this with us, it is so inspiring! I love the color of this limited edition mtn, so light and pretty! ^__^
Hi Mits, love your video. I also have a passport size midori traveller's notebook but mine is just the original brown version. I am currently using a filofax as my planner and the traveller's notebook is not in use. May I know whether u use both your filofax and your traveller's notebook at the same time? I don't want my traveller's notebook to just sit there and not being used but I don't have any idea how I can utilize both at the same time.
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching :) I use all three consecutively and for different purposes lol I actually have filmed a video already, but just haven't edited yet >_< I use my FF at home to keep me organized and my midori more for a creative outlet: journaling, drawing, doodling etc.. : ) I hope that helps a bit!
+william bishop I'm so sorry, it seems as though she has taken down her video. It was a tutorial from poketfullofvintage (pocket without the 'c') .. sorry about that
I'm in love with this camel color, I wish they'd released it again in regular size! I like how you kept it to a minimum to carry it everywhere, my regular gets heavy sometimes, I should try to downsize it a bit. Do you carry both of them when you go out?
I wish they released it in regular size too :(( Maybe they will do another limited edition in the future. I carry my passport size everywhere and depending on how long im out, I will carry both :) I've made a video on it, but just haven't gotten to editing it yet >_< sorry!
Oh what you've done with it is lovely!!!💗📔✏️ I wish I could suggest any cute pens but I'm having a hard time as it is with my Filofax, I love color but most of my pens bleed....🙈☺️ Hope everything is going well for you and your pregnancy, it's such a beautiful time in a woman's life...😊 Oh and yaaaay for the Eiffel Tower charm!!!! I hope one day you come and we meet!!!!👭🇫🇷💙❤️
Love it...it's a great carry all ...always ...enjoy...beautiful.....I'm so please you made the pock...nothing to be intimidated about.....:) looks really nice....just a tip...use large clear packing tap on the edges to stop from accedently ripping....
hye won park Unfortunately they're gone in japan too. I haven't found any for sale for a long time :(( maybe there will be some for sale used on ebay :( Sorry!
Zebra makes an adjustable pen that can be made small, then pulled out to full length if you like. www.zebrapen.com/product/telescopic-ball-point-2/ and it has a clip so it can be attached to the binder clip pen holder. Great video, as always! :)
I don't have a preference, but I suppose it depends on what I'm using them for. For example. I prefer the regular sized TN to document my travels and special events and the passport I prefer to keep as a small little calendar/schedule book :) thanks for watching!
MyLifeMits Thank you for a great video! I just discovered the Traveler's Notebooks and I have watched several videos here on RUclips. Yours are so helpful. I ordered my notebook and several inserts to get started. I can't wait to have it in my hands so I can begin journaling! Thanks again. I look forward to more of your videos.

Try Lamy spirit pen. You gonna like the shape and it fit great.
Thank you! I will definitely look into it :))

Wahh~! Thank you so much for your support Nadine, it means a lot to me ^___^
I absolutely love love love your setup!!!! Thank you for sharing this with us, it is so inspiring! I love the color of this limited edition mtn, so light and pretty! ^__^
Btw - I believe filofax makes pens that are a little smaller/shorter than regular pens, maybe that would be a good choice for your PP midori?
Thanks Maria, I'll look into it :))

Where did you get the hedgehog paper clip? It's super cute. Thanks for the video.
Koi1308 Hello! I received it from my friend in the states - I believe she got it from Barnes and Noble. Thank you for watching :)
Great video!! I think I need a passport size Midori now :) thanks for sharing
lol oops!
Thanks for watching!
Would you please re share the link to make the pocket folder? I don't see it in the comments, which are numerous. Thank you very much.
+william bishop I'm so sorry, it seems as though she has taken down her video. It was a tutorial from poketfullofvintage (pocket without the 'c') .. sorry about that
Your 6 pocket version is very pretty! Did you use used paper? Thanks for inspiring me how to use my passport size traveller notebook :D
Thanks so much! I used new paper - it's the same thickness as scrapbooking paper :)

Thank you! I found the charm at my local craft/fabric store, it's called Yuzawaya :)

Ohhhh Pilot G tech - I will look into it for sure, thanks for the suggestion!! You're so awesome Natasha! xoxo
hehehe hey! so are you (; xoxo
think the g tech are by far the best affordable and size for the passport size so far!
from all the video, I like your voice the most.
Aww lol thank you, thanks for watching :D
MyLifeMits your welcome. Your voice just made my day :)
What were your paper dimensions at the start of making your 6-pocket folder?
Thank you so much - love this video!
Thanks so much for watching :)

Thank you so much for your sweet comment, I'd love to visit Paris again!! We could go shopping and have some delicious food!! yum yum!
It's adorable!
Thank you so much ^_^
Oh yes it would be so much fun!!! We could have a little Ladurée party and go crazy on macaroons!!!😋😉😊😘
That was very interesting :) I always use fountain pens, so I can't advice on pens, but very nice set-up.
Thank you so much! Do you have any recommendations on a cheap/beginner fountain pen? Thanks for watching!
MyLifeMits I mostly use my Pelikano Junior. It's for children, but my hands are quite small, so it fits perfectly.
Love it...it's a great carry all ...always ...enjoy...beautiful.....I'm so please you made the pock...nothing to be intimidated about.....:) looks really nice....just a tip...use large clear packing tap on the edges to stop from accedently ripping....
I was able to make the pocket folder thanks to YOU !!!
Thank you for the tip, I'll tape it up! :)
do field notes notebooks fit inside
Unfortunately, the field notes are too big for the passport size.
i must need it-..but i can't found it...i'm sooo sad-.........
hye won park Unfortunately they're gone in japan too. I haven't found any for sale for a long time :(( maybe there will be some for sale used on ebay :( Sorry!

How neat, thanks so much for the suggestion! and thanks for your support!
do you prefer passport or regular size?
I don't have a preference, but I suppose it depends on what I'm using them for. For example. I prefer the regular sized TN to document my travels and special events and the passport I prefer to keep as a small little calendar/schedule book :) thanks for watching!
Wonderful! But now I want a passport size MTN. >_>;;; And I want to use it as a wallet.
ahhhh lol sorry!!! If you do end up using it as a wallet, I'd love to see how it turns out :)
Maybe this pen will work for you...
