I love the perforation rotary cutter! I actually got my rotary cutter in the sewing notions area of JoAnn's and I use that with my hubby's steel t-square to even up the edges on my homemade inserts for my homemade traveler's notebook!
I just heard about the midori system and wanted to learn more, so your timing is perps! I am going to buy one for my cousin;recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Hoping it will be a safe haven for her thoughts and functional as well. Mahalo for sharing, aloha!
I have been using a regular weekly planner I pick up every yr. last yr was the 1st time picked up,a family planner with space for everybody's stuff and work.
Ooh I must get one of those cutters. Thanks. I got a Foxydori and hers have the riveted pen holder. I 💕 it. It is such a beautiful color. (Paradise) I am currently using a pocket domino Filofax pretty much for shopping, but I'm not loving the rings either.
Love the basic setup, it's everything you need when out and about, and no extra bulk. That perforator is ingenious! I have a paper trimmer that perforates, but you obviously cannot use a trimmer in a notebook like that. Before that, I would use my sewing machine to make the holes... haha! Thanks for sharing!
Nadine, Thank you so much for sharing your set up with all of us. You are truly a doll. I am off to buy one of those tools you showed. I love it! Thank you for the chance to win this generous giveaway! I hope someone who doesn't own any leather planners wins this sweet, generous giveaway! Huge hugs to you girl! Hugs xxxxxx
Hi Nadine, i use a composition book that i have altered using the bullet style journal, i made pockets and used pattern paper to make it look nice, i'd love one of those Perforation Cutters, it would be so usefull xx Wendy
Really enjoyed your set up... I don't have a Midori, but I did purchase a smaller planner for my purse. My ECLP is bit bulky yo be carrying it along everywhere.

I love the perforation rotary cutter too! You always have great tips. I am using my passport size as my wallet. I made myself a faux personal size midori and inserts to go with it, I am not sure if my dimensions are correct or not. I made my inserts 7 1/4 inch H by 4 inches W. It works for me. I look forward to seeing your new planner videos!
I love this style planner. I love how you set it all up.! I would love a chance to win the one you showed. Im on the hunt for a great planner. I'm currently using a calendar I bought at Mikes. I like it but it is a bit big for a purse.!
