They have elastic bands that are used for cooking, usually in the cooking isle at the grocery store. These are thicker and way more durable than the Midori. It's what I use on my Dori... Hasn't broken yet!
Totally smart girl about using the grid for a calendar. Wish I saw this before I ordered my calendar. I think I would have done the same things. I haven't even finished watching yet.
Hi, as a first-timer a year ago, my daily creative planner didn't work as well. Lol, but with this video, I'm looking forward to give it another try :)
Great video 👍. This is so helpful! I'm planning to try it soon for my book reviews records and blogging drafts. I think I read somewhere that the new moleskin chapters can be used as well.
+Ana' Fiches de Lectures Thank you so much! I'm glad it was helpful for you! I know a few people that enjoy using the moleskine chapters notebooks, but I haven't tried them out as of yet. If you do, you'll have to let me know how you like them.
The video said "Using the Midori Traveler's Notebook as a Daily Planner" , what I saw should have been called, " How to put your Midori Traveler's Notebook together" !!!!!
enjoying your channel. just getting started! what was that planner- of sorts -that your friend made? can you put a link? i watched your explanation of the organization book but lost it.... ty!
I'm going to make my own Fauxdori, but have been on the fence about what size to make it. Regular Midori size or Personal. But after seeing you compare them I might just go for the Regular. So, thanks :o)

+Howes6 Thank you so much for the tip! I'm definitely going to check out the cooking isle for those bands! That's wonderful.

I bought mine yesterday and this is the one way that I wanted to setup my traveler notebook, thanks :)
go to MIchaels in the Jewelry dept and there is beautiful graded 3mm elastic tread for beading.. excellent for midori elastics
+Suzala Suzala Oh nice! Thank you!
I love the connecting bands, sorry to hear they didn’t work out for you. Great video, thank you, I don’t like overhang too.

Your voice are pleasing to hear, great tutorial btw. keep it up..
I love this system and I also used the elastic from the box. much more sturdier!
+lalapurplelala I prefer the elastic bands, too. Yes, they're much more sturdier and are able to last longer, I find.

There is a better way to get three insets in ypur midori, look at the instructions in the rubber bands package!
it sticks out to much :( kinda annoying i wish the cover was a tad larger
I love this is wish she could do a 2017 version 😭💖
Thank you .
I love just holding it lol . I may be a planner crazy girl !
why aren't the notebooks designed another1/4 inch wider and thicker to lessening the visual and wear of overhang / protruding multi- inserts
???????
there are faudoris on etsy that are made like that; they even have extra strings in them to have more notebooks
Wonderful video...thank you

You know you can find the Midori inserts for much cheaper!
The calender insert is only like $5 and the grid insert about $3 at pencils.jp!
+elepop Oh wow!! You're right! Way cheaper! Thank you so much for the link and website. I truly appreciate it!

Part of me wishes you kept the olive travelers notebook so you could have a seaweed colored Midori (cause your pen name is seaweed kisses :) )

Loved your video!
where did you buy it? thanks!
Valeska Martins I myself was able to get it in Amazon for a good price. However, you can go on any other shop online such as The Goulet Pen Company.
I bought this brown one at the Kinokuniya Bookstore in NYC (before Amazon had them available 3+ years ago).
You can just get a bigger cover :D
they don’t sell in the midori official brand :)
Boring
